Absolutely hands down some of the best sushi I’ve had in a while!!!! Fresh, delicious, colorful and reasonable for the prices. The restaurant is clean and warm with all the wood inside (even the bathrooms are nice). They gave us free toasted green tea (ridiculously good) and miso to start with which already made them stand out to me. And they give you a stamp card for loyalty points – worth $10!

Great sushi! The rolls tasted very fresh and each roll was well balanced. I got the Dynamite and sushi girl. The spicy tuna in the roll was just the right amount of spicy for me, I’m not a big fan of really spicy sushi. I also got their spicy garlic edamame, it was tasty but the spice/garlic is mainly from powered spices but still good.. again, not super spicy. I sat at the bar and the gentleman making the sushi was very nice and very engaging. The service overall was great. Definitely a spot worth trying!

Really good quality sushi in the east bay! The fish is fresh and the cuts are nicely portioned. I ordered the tuna rice bowl. They put two kinds of tuna in it with a seaweed salad. We also ordered the sparkling sake. First time trying sparkling sake and would order it again.

Hands down one of the worst Japanese restaurants in the Bay area. The miso soup was filled with bleach flavor from incomplete cleaning. The tempura entree was doughy and over cooked. The batter is soggy and boy authentic. The rice was dry and cooked probably in the morning. The only thing good was the hamachi sashimi, basically things that didn’t require the chef’s input was ok. Will never come back again. I have no clue how this place got 4.8 rating. People around here probably have no idea what real Japanese cuisine is like.

The vegetable rolls were decent. I choked a little on the soy paper skin that replaced the seaweed for the Veggie Lover. The vegetable tempura roll was tasty but wished it came with a few more pieces

I visited the sushi place during less busy hours and was impressed with the prompt service. As soon as I sat down, I was served with complimentary miso soup and water, which was a nice touch. The restaurant had a standard variety of rolls, but I was pleased to find five types of fish and cuts on their special menu. While nothing too fancy, the fish was tasty, and I would rate the overall fish quality as 4/5. The prices were reasonable, making it a great value for money.

Good service. Good food. Prices are a little high. My only real complaint is each person in our party of 6 ordered individual sushi rolls, we ordered one roll each. The sushi chef/cook decided to make and deliver one roll at a time to our table, so instead of being able to eat all at together there ended up being a 5-10 minute gap between delivery of each roll to our table. We as a family don’t eat until everyone has their food ready. So we just had to wait and wait until finally the last roll was delivered to our table, about 30 minutes after the first. Are the chefs not skilled enough to time an entire table’s orders all at once??? Probably won’t return unless I go alone. Definitely not great for groups of more than two.

Quaint little Japanese sushi place with some excellent sushi. Pro tip: ask for real lump crab.
