The quality of food has de-escalated, the price has escalated. They give you 4 smaller less fatty pieces which are really 2 larger pieces. They used to give you 3 nice well meat pieces. The fries were hard today, and smaller. The price was $15.11. I have always gone there, but I will not continue to support substandard service, on top of that, the owner? She always has an attitude with me. Who needs it? There are more fish places, and I have always gone out of my way to go there. Good Riddens!!!

Being from AZ and in MS for work, I found this great little place on google. I was 100% satisfied with my experience here! The pan trout and catfish were great and the hospitality was above and beyond anything that I could have expected. The atmosphere was as if I was visiting my grandparents in the hills of Virginia, everyone there was extremely kind, polite and welcoming to an out of town stranger.

I’ve heard alot of good things about this place but never really tried it before. So when I got off work today I decided to take my wife out for a good, hot plate of fish which is something that she loves. We both had the 4pc catfish order w/ fries & salad. I must admit this fish was hot, fresh & fried hard just how I requested. I was so busy eating the fish, fries & salad that I never even ate the bread. I ate everything on my plate. Then I went back & ordered another piece of catfish & salad. We will definitely be back to eat here again. My wife loved it as well. Please put this fish spot on your to-do list, you won’t be disappointed.

whoever the lady behind the register made me feel like I was wrong for asking if they had a menu to take out to show my wife. rolled her eyes at me and literally was about to walk out and not even spend my money. but I am currently waiting for the food to be cooked and hopefully it is better than her attitude.

Glad we stopped at this little place on our 1500 mile motorcycle trip. What a good find! The whole catfish was food-gasmic according to my husband. I got the chicken tenders basket, which was yummy too – breading was crispy delicious. Crinkle-cut fries were super crispy. More than ample servings. We ate our dinners on the outdoor table – nice afternoon.

I freaking love this place. The best pantrout… I don’t live in MS so to find this place was like finding a lost treasure. If you’re looking for a bougie place to eat this is definitely not it. But if you’re looking for that old-school hole in the wall southern fried fish here it is.

The corn meal white and yellow mixed is the best! The flour pepper and salt seasoned perfection is amazing cooking temperature produces a moist tender delicious filet!
