My friend and I walked in. She had eaten here before this was my first time.

Clean, nice variety on the menu. I believe it was the owner who seated us, but he proceeded to sit down and talk all evening while our wonderful waitress worked her tail off taking care of all the customers on her own. Food was fine, what you would expect from a small town family restaurant; however the cook does need to learn the difference in rare, medium, well done as the requested medium well ribeye was halfway rare. Kudos to the blonde waitress. She was a pleasure! She deserves a raise!

I ordered a Patty melt to go when I got home. I had no straw for my soda and no napkins. And I was asked if I would like to give a tip so I gave $2 tip. Then I get home and realize my waitress didn’t even give me the essentials to eat with. Don’t ask me if I would like to leave a tip. When you’re not even sure if my order is full.

We ate breakfast and dinner here! We ate in for breakfast and carried out for dinner. The staff is great and the food is delicious. Our eggs were done to perfection. Dinner was Greek chicken and a walleye plate. All was very good!

I love the amount of windows almost as much as I enjoyed the menu. If homestyle & breakfast foods are your thing, Harvest time has what you’re looking for. I really enjoyed everything we ordered, and our waitress was very courteous. 4- Stars, because the rolls were about as cheap as they could be, and the waitress forgot our ranch dipping sauce to accompany our fried mushroom appetizer.

Wonderful food. Great prices. Love the atmosphere. They made my granddaughter very happy. They brought her a pancake the size of the plate with whipped cream and strawberries on the side. I had the taco salad!

Been coming to Monticello IN for quite a few years now, and just never had the urge to stop here. Reviews had admittedly kept me away. This trip we decided that it was time to make our own decision. We arrived around 2:15, and were the only ones there for about 15 minutes, but things slowly started to pick up after that. Hubby had coffee and I went with my Arnold Palmer. After which, I was informed was made with pink lemonade. No problem. Started with upgrade sides of soup. Tuesday is cream of potato and chicken dumpling. We doubled teamed and got one of each. The potato was cool, with huge chunks of warm potatoes in a flavorless paste. The chicken was tasty, delicious with homemade dumplings that were made old-school, pushed through a colander to form the dumplings. Oh yeah. I went with a gyro wrap (with fries – I thought it came with them), and hubby got chicken stir fry (his old stand by). Food came timely, but no fries. When I asked, I was informed that they didn’t come with them. The waitress was quick to want to remedy the situation. She was going to get me fries, and she wasn’t even going to charge me for them. Then I thought about onion rings, and she said they’re both great. So I opted for onion rings. Lickety split they were out, and piping hot and yummy! Lo and behold they weren’t on my bill. Hubby’s stir fry was an amazing meal. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the snap peas were fresh and crisp. The sauce was delicious, and not over powering. Overall, a wonderful experience here. I paid for those onion rings after all that. I wanted her to know that her initiative and extraordinary efforts on my behalf were appreciated.
