GMZ ROOL MY LIFE
I’ve been going here for over 2 decades but the last year or so I’ve gone back as the chicken isn’t ready and ive had to wait 10m in the pkg lot. The inside has been closed for a while. I already drive 20m to get to it because I liked their rolls but those now have no taste and are hard and dry. Really bummed as the owners are always nice.

I went through the drive through ordering for #13 which is 12 gizzards or liver so I ask if they can drop it fresh for me instead of dropping fresh they re dropped the same gizzards yall when I say I tried to bite into the gizzards they so hard I hurt my teeth ♀️ ♀️ ♀️today I was hungry so I just ate some of it

Not only is all the food here nasty, so is the attitude of the people that work the registers. Just because you own the spot doesn’t mean you have to hire your family to work there, customer service is a 0 star if possible and the food is dry, tastes like it’s been recycled when not finished the previous shift and dirty. Should have known from the filthy parking lot and exterior.

So i havent been here in years and wanted to give them a try since i remember how good those yeast rolls were and i didnt feel like cooking today. The chicken arrived hot which is the one plus but it was flavorless, heavily breaded and just not as good as i remember the last time. Sadly, even the yeast roll was underwhelming, it was hard as a brick and not fresh. The fried okra was ok but I’ve had better. This will more than likely be my last time here. The prices have went up and the quality of the food has went down which is becoming a trend with most fast food joints now days, so sad! I give it 2 stars because the lady that worked there was nice otherwise it would of been 1 star. You can make better fried chicken at home!

They should rename this place Hartz chicken. The buffet is not available at this location. The fried food needs more seasoning. Once I put barbecue sauce on the fried food it was good. The food was cooked good but just needed seasoning.

I don’t like this location and I hate that sometimes they lock the doors because time if you close at 10pm lock your doors at ten not at 9 the women did not want to help me but had her husband and children there and the child was sleep with covers all over the chair in the dinner so I keep telling the women what time it say they close but she just looked and walked away so I went in drive-through because they have to take the order she still did not want to help me I really want to post pictures of the lady and the store open hours because she was wrong and when her own kid of people came to order she told they ordered never will go back here

I love the food but did not like the idea of not being able to go inside it was early for the inside to be locked we got something new and enjoy everything including the rolls they were fresh

It’s drive through only the chicken is wonderful and the yeast rolls are the BEST and a very good price they are remodeling the inside best chicken worth trying be going there for over 30 years

Life Choices
First time eating here & family caught food poisoning.. should’ve known better when the food wasn’t tasting good at all. next time will stuck to what I know.. the the lady was nice. The food was clearly cook in old grease or something , the fries,tenders,& the chicken tasted funny.. I just have to hold the L of spending basically $25 to have someone smile in my face, tell me enjoy the food & and serve me food that would kill animals . Never again. 1 star is too nice already . I hope someone see my warning & reconsiders choosing this place.
