I think the restaurant has changed ownership. Fried Chicken could use more spice. Peach cobbler way too doughy. Not giving military discounts anymore. Senior discount is only 50 cents off meal. Have to ask for napkins at the counter. Cornbread muffins were good though.

I decided to update my review from years past. Even though it’s under a new management, the food is so so. Not as hot as I like my buffet food to be, they trying to bring it back. Once they can get it tweaked the right way, line will be out the door. I drive 30 mins in but I don’t come down as much as before.

The fried chicken pieces were over cooked as well as the fried pork chops. There is a very basic salad bar and other hot veggies. The cabbage and Lima beans were good but the other veggies and side dishes did not look appealing. The whole building is very old and is in need of repairs; missing tiles, damaged walls that need painting, rust on fire doors and metal frames. It was kept clean though. No I won’t be eating there again.

The buffet is not big; buy, contains a good selection for it’s size. The food was tasty and the staff replenished the buffet quickly keeping the food nice and warm. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

HELP SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES. Good food at a great price. Employees friendly. Food bar OPEN, with individual gloves for customers to fill there plate to the top. Tables spaced out and sanitized after use by staff. Ventilation for heating and air were on high to circulate air. Oh, did I mention food was good. Sorry no pics of food, made a mess clearing my plate.

I enjoyed myself, untitl I saw 2 make children take food off their plates with fingers, and put it back on the buffet. It should be widely posted no children without adult supervision allowed at the buffet. Not only is the unsanitary, it’s also gross. I lost my appetite for more.
