This is my favorite store probably ever. The service is awesome an I find myself just hanging out an talking to them. I’ve developed a relationship with the cashier who is an amazing woman an will make you laugh literally every time! So idk who that weird woman is complaining about her but trust me. This corner store is the 3rd or 4th business to take place. If the cashier/owners wife doesn’t fix her attitude problem they will be another statistic. This morning she SNATCHED my card out of my hand for a $2 purchase. I would’ve made a scene and waited for the owner, it was my day off and I live a block away so I certainly did have time for it however, I felt it would escalate since she has spoken badly about a previous customer, calling him a “as*h*le” and this isn’t the first time she’s displeased a customer. I will speak to the owner and if nothing is done, something will be.

This store use to be the best corner store on Hartford Ave but after the last 2 years it’s been a disappointment. My problem with the store now is that ever since that new lady (the owner wife) started working there she makes customers feel uncomfortable. For instance, someone brought change to buy a pack of game and she complained that she couldn’t accept coins, most of the time she’s sitting on her chair not wanting to get up and reach and she’ll hand you the bag and make you put your stuff away, she’s always giving people mean looks and makes people not want to go there no more. And the last straw was today, I went in and bought some strawberry wafers and when I took a bite it tasted wired so I looked as the expiration date and it said October 22, 2022. Please check the dates on everything you buy there because they keep stuff on the shelves even if it’s expired. They got there food license removed because of cross contamination and health problems

Very high on prices crazy bags of chips mark as $2.29 on the bag now they are $5.99 Doritos bags from $2.59 to $3.99 ice cream high on price but cigarettes are cheap lol crazy expensive

Idk where to start. Oh yeah, not your average pizza location. First drove passed the location the first time, walked into a convenience store thinking I was at the wrong location. Long story short, this pizza spot is by far the best location. Fish sub, steak & cheese, salad was an 5/5. Been eating here since!

I suppose i may have broke an uspoken rule by ordering something that isnt pizza from a pizza place. I ordered chicken alfredo pasta and when it was recieved through delivery the sauce was about the consistency of water, It had broccoli that wasnt listed in the original order, and overall it tasted very bland. If this was any worse I’d say this place is a great candidate for kitchen nightmares! I hope this place turns itself around.

Pizza is good. Just don’t expect fast delivery. Over an hour to get your “warm” food. You call to check the status to be hung up on. Gave it another chance but after the 3rd strike, I’m out. No Thank you!

Honestly, the people I’ve dealt with as far as on the phone and delivery aren’t the brightest. The girl on the phone can never hear me (regardless of what phone I call on .. cell, landline & I’m loud) and the ONE TIME I paid with cash, the delivery girl didn’t have ANY change .. anyway, the FOOD is fantastic. Hopefully they get a new phone and a more intelligent delivery girl 🙂
