Harry’s OK Style Smokehouse has parking in the back. There are no tables inside, just a few on the sidewalk outside. We ate outside because it was a beautiful day. I devoured the fried okra first. It was delicious with ranch dressing. I ordered the lunch special with baby back ribs, and they were very tender and flavorful. I also had a side of baked beans. Everything was delicious and I can’t wait to go back and try more.

Today we visited Harry’s BBQ in Lomita California. This place has been around for a very long time. The lobby is small with no inside dining available. Once inside you will see lots of photos of famous singers and actors. Apparently the owner had a nightclub bck in the days in Oklahoma where all these famous people would attend, see photos. I was greeted warmly by Debbie, she was very helpfull and had really good knowledge about the food.

Fast service, decent food. Portions on peach cobbler (which was meh) and onion rings definitely didn’t seem in line with the price. I imagine it’s better if you dine in.

Harry’s is take out only. There may be chairs and tables outside if you want to eat there. My parents were from Oklahoma and my mommy would barbecue bologna. Harry’s is the only place I know in SoCal that you can get barbecued bologna. I ended up buying 2 pounds 1 for me and my brother who texted in his order after I responded to a group text about Fourth of July eats. So I ordered baby back ribs, tri tip and Mac and cheese for hubby, baked beans and peach cobbler. We have plenty left for the fourth.

First time here, ordered the brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, macaroni and cheese, and onion rings. Everything was delicious and we’ll go back to take family to enjoy as well. There is no indoor seating but they do have a few tables on the sidewalk so it was fine. They also do take out. I appreciate that they serve BBQ sauce on the side without us asking.

Would have given an all around 5 but we had a very large order, so we had faith it was all there, but there were several things missing. We were too far away to call and go back. Otherwise, the food was great, the gentleman who took our order by phone, and the man at the counter were so helpful and very nice.
