Had a prior commitment 20 min from town. We came in on a Sunday at 12:55pm. There were only a couple of tables already filled. Ordered some drinks and food. Didn’t get our food until 2:12! There was a table in front of us that came in after we did and immediately got their food (burgers). We hadn’t gotten our food and they were getting boxes! There was another party that came in after us who asked how much longer and when the waitress said 20 min, they were shocked and asked for the check. She was very apologetic and said there’s only one cook on Sunday’s and don’t usually have this many people (which was shocking because it wasn’t packed at all). We were about to ask for our checks when she came with the food. The chicken on my salad tasted burnt and overall didn’t taste all that great. My partner got the Nashville Hot Chicken which wasn’t warm and the chicken was over done. We understand staffing shortages – why was there a Sunday brunch menu on top of the regular menu if staffing is such an issue? The least we could’ve gotten was a warning of the wait time. We scarfed everything down in 15 min and ran out of there. Very disappointing.

Uhhhh….hmmm….where to start…..for some reason, they put scallions on the corn bread which permeated the honey butter on top and made the entire thing taste like onions. Soda was flat. Ordered a steak medium rare but it came out medium well/well done. They said their steak was coated in a blend of spices but it the few instances where I actually could taste this “blend”, it just tasted like burnt cinnamon. Other than that, the steak had absolutely no flavor. The asparagus had a better seasoning and flavor than the steak, they should cost the steak in that. My gf got the Guinness glazed chicken thighs and while she liked it, it didn’t do anything for me. $40 for a 16oz bone in “ribeye” (which had absolutely no fat on it which is the reason one even gets a ribeye in the first place) with two sides is crazy overpriced, I can go to Texas Roadhouse and pay less money for a bigger and better bone in rib-eye. The saving grace of both meals were the mashed potatoes, they were some of the best I’ve ever had. They’re the reason why this joint got a 3 and not a 2.

I travel throughout the state a lot and enjoy finding places in every corner of CT with the best menus and most eclectic vibes. Gotta say this place is at the top of the list. Always a treat to stop in Norwich for a menu that always WOW’s!! The Dragon Bowl blends incredible flavors. Thanks to Saige for the suggestion! She and the whole crew at the rooftop bar were all great.

If you haven’t tried this place you’re missing out. With the pub style atmosphere, the multi-floor experience featuring both interior and outside bar and patio dining/ drinking experience, this place is a great choice for either dinner out and a date or a hangout location for friends to get together at. Plus the live music upstairs on the patio makes it a nightlife experience like you’re in a much more upscale place then the middle of Norwich! Definitely recommend it

Been here twice. Both times got the dragon bowl. It’s so good, everytime I go here, I will get the dragon bowl! Great ambiance. Second time there sat outside up on the roof. It was awesome.
