I have been a customer of Hardy’s BBQ for over 6 years! We stopped for a rib sandwich while my oldest daughter was taking dance class in Bethesda, and the rest has been a history of great smoked BBQ! I’ve been to their restaurant in Bowie, MD as well! The ribs are so good and addictive LOL! I’ll be back soon for my quarterly slab!!

I was so excited to finally try this place out .. Only to be disappointed. The potatoes from the potato salad were under cooked, tasted like straight up mustard, no flavor. The Ribs did not have BBQ all over them. Only on the top. My Son had the chicken and it was under cooked as well and was unable to finish it after seeing the blood on the chicken bone . It also lacked flavor. I even tried cooking it some more in our oven and he was still turned off from the sight. The mac and cheese were cooked with penne pasta which were also disappointed with lack of flavor. The only thing I enjoyed were the hush puppies. I am new to this area and so far the best southern or BBQ, I have had were from this place at the Bowie Town Center food court called Wesley’s Southern Cuisine. Their potato salad and mac and cheese are on point. Fried fish and Ribs are to die for. Mind you now this place is in a food court of all places and their food are delicious. I will not be returning to Hardy’s to waste another $50.00 on mediocre flavor food.

Hardy’s BBQ Food truck graced our pool with its presence last night, and wow! The food was phenomenal, and the service was excellent! We tried a little bit of everything on the menu, and not a single item was disappointing – all of it was completely on point! Seriously delicious! We hope you all come back to Twinbrook Swimming Pool, Hardy’s BBQ!

The best BBQ you can get! They also have a unique dish that is great “Meat Fries” french fries with pulled pork, chicken, or beef with there special sauce, with or without cheese. I have had all three and they all are good. The pork is my favorite. The ribs and whole chicken are better than any restaurant. I only wish they were open everyday.

Came back a second time for some more ribs and took them to go since it was cold out. The first time I had the ribs, they were tender and much easier to pick off the bone. This time, they were much more tough (but still tasty). The fries, beans, and slaw were all great. Hopefully the tough ribs this time were a fluke.

I come here somewhat often, but this place is constantly hit and miss and generally lets me down. Sometimes the chicken is so dry you have to dip it in water just to swallow it. I believe they often end up with a lot of leftovers that they try to sell throughout the week and then they recook it and slather it in BBQ sauce to mask how old it is.

Placed a large catering order, which was delivered last night. The food was EXCELLENT, the portions LARGE. Delivery was on time and at appropriate temperature. Had smoked chicken, pulled pork and beef brisket…all were DELICIOUS! Roxie was a pleasure to work with.

Best bbq in the area. I wish they had better hours as it’s difficult to get over there sometimes but totally worth it when i can. The ribs with spicy sauce is my favorite.
