Celebrated my mother’s 84th tonight, party of 8. Food was great, portion sizes and flavor. The wait was normal for a Friday. Waitress was friendly and very accommodating. The owner/ manager came and greeted us. It was a great time.

Great food and service! Jason was our waiter and he went above and beyond. Thank you, Jason! We had fish tacos, fried shrimp, sliders, and a side salad. The side salad was perfect. The shrimp was super delicious just a tad bit salty. The fries were thin and crispy with a great seasoning. Dipping in tartar sauce made them even more yummy. The sliders had a really good burger sauce that took them over the top. Can’t wait to return for the Sunday Southern Buffett. The Hardware House is a great addition to Douglas eateries.

Food and service were to notch! High recommend this place. I will be back. Do you have crab legs? I didn’t see them on the menu. Crab legs, potatoes, sausage, and corn with a seasoning like zatarain’s or similar would be delicious.

Me and my husband loved it! The food was great, the service was amazing and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Great portions for the price. We will be back. See y’all in a couple of weeks.

My husband and I always enjoyed Spivey’s Catfish House so we decided to try the new Hardware House. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 5 pm. We were seated quickly and did not wait long for a waitress to take our drink orders. The waitress by the way was one of our favorites from Spivey’s. We were glad to see familiar faces. The food was excellent and we were happy to see the famous hush puppies are still available. It was a little loud due to the openness of the building, but I love the space the building offers. The only thing my husband missed was the salad bar, but he ordered a salad as a side and it did not disappoint. We are glad we gave this restaurant a try and will return.

Always delicious! The staff is super friendly and they treat you like family. I love coming here with my family when I’m in town. My dad had the all-you-can-eat catfish, while my mom and I shared the large ribeye. See you again soon!

We were there on Friday 7/7/23 nice place. Not organized at all. We waited To get a table for 20 minutes. we ordered it was 45 minutes before we got our food it was okay. We will not go back. I would like to make a suggestion. Have only one sign in spot. Don’t use sticky notes to sign in. Get a notebook book put time and name of person.
