This is my 2nd time visiting this location with the same results. I ordered a pound mix ribs and sausage and the ribs where dry again. Probably not selling fast enough so reheating over and over sausage was o.k at best. Cookie pudding was trash. The was good. 1 star for ribs because of flavor sausage no stars cookie pudding no stars broccoli 2 stars which means I am done. There are much better places to visit and you will spend the same amount of money but get better quality.

Just happened upon this place and decided to stop in for dinner since it also claimed to have soul food. Being from the south, that sounded enticing. My wife got the hot link sandwich and I had brisket. It was clear that the premade food displayed in the cafeteria style bins in the store was past its prime. All of the meats were dried out looking and appeared to have been sitting there, without being stirred, since lunchtime. We opted to order food from the back instead. Needless to say,that was a mistake. Even though both of us ordered different meats, we both started cramping within about an hour of eating the meal. Starting the following morning, we were married to the toilet all day. Apparently they are not well-versed in food handling. Would not recommend it unless you enjoy spending the day in the bathroom.

The ABSOLUTE WORST FOOD EVER. I came on a Sunday evening drove from Deep Ellum with friends to have what was said to be good bbq. My baked potatoe was so old and hard and brown….they told me no refunds, which let me know they’ve had this problem before.
