Food was good and hot – once we got it. Went through the drive thru and was told to pull up to wait. There was already another customer waiting off to the side. Several people went around us. We waited for about 10 minutes and my husband had to walk inside to get the food – which was just sitting on the counter. No apology, no level of customer service at all. Sad bc the location seemed newly renovated and could be nice.

We went through the drive thru after church to get chicken and take home for lunch. They did not have ANY FRIED CHICKEN ready and asked if we wanted to wait, which would take 16 minutes. We waited, and after right at 25 minutes, my husband went to the employee’s door by the drive-thru window to ask where the chicken was. The young lady working ignored him at first, and after having to come to the window, she had to acknowledge him. He asked about our chicken she said, “It’s coming up now.” They should have been on the second batch at this point! She was very rude! Sad example of the service at Barnwell Hardee’s..or lack of!!

I was on vacation and went every morning to get the porkchop biscuit ! It’s was so good and fresh. I asked and paid for a fried egg on it one morning and got the folded egg instead…the biscuits were always fresh and soft. My daughters sausage biscuit was a Lil doughy but the rest was edible . Other than that great breakfast and service!!

This Hardee’s is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes the food tastes like it has sat under a light for hours. I mean….if you serve breakfast until 11 then serve breakfast until 11. Don’t stop cooking breakfast at 10 and then send out stale and hard biscuits. When I work at my hotel job I work 9 to 3. Not 9 to 2 and then give people dirty towels.

I cruise in for dinner occasionally during the slow period. Get the usual number 1 with a sprite and then something else. Food’s always good and never had to wait to long. The drive through person doesn’t get mad when I accidentally space out to music while ordering either . I always choose them over McDonald’s.

After placing my order and paying, I asked the very polite cashier, could I have extra pickles on my burger. He replied yes and proceeded to tell the cook. The cook asked, “Did you add it to the ticket? He replied, no, she asked after she paid. The cook said loudly, Oh well, too bad she can’t. With customers in the lobby, she told the cashier, you get on my f***king nerve! Absolutely ridiculous! Absolutely disrespectful! If corporate take a look at their cameras, they would terminate (or should) a few people. Will never eat at this place ever again!! I heard the cashier call her name, Karen. Figures!
