My wife and I stopped by for lunch on our way to visit family. We both ordered the 10 piece wing combos which came with steak fries and drinks. The table at the booth we sat in was very sticky. I got up and looked at the other tables and the one we were sitting at appeared to be the cleanest. It took 15 mins to get our order, the fries were very dark brown and crispy (overcooked), the wings were so tiny, I haven’t seen wings that tiny in a long time. There was no ice in the fountain machine, so we had drinks with little to no ice. I walked in the restroom to wash my hands and guess what? There was no soap in the dispenser and I also used the last towel in the dispenser. I generally like to use local businesses, but this was bad. Get better food and clean up your act or I’ll never be back.

Spices on fries were so overwhelming and hot. Took 38 min to get food then the wings were not hot. They were soggy and drown in sauce. The blue cheese and ranch dip were sitting on the counter in large bowls not kept cold. The buffalo chicken sandwich was horrible it had so much sauce, lettuce tom pickles onions and American cheese and only one tiny chicken tender. Never have I had it like this. Whom ever bought them needs to learn what wings are and how they are made. Never will come back

I will not be going back. Stood at counter for quite a while before someone took order. The place looked dirty and worn out. Do I want to eat something from here?? Mine was a to go order of buffalo wings. When home I was disappointed that the wings were very, very small. Like squirrels legs. What a rip off. I couldn’t find a wing that small again if I looked. We have gone to the “Wing Nut” here in town and their wings are good and normal size and worth the money paid. I don’t recommend going to Hard Luck Cafe because that’s what you’ll get.

The star is for the friendly staff. But that’s not enough to go back. The tables were dirty despite the fact that there were TWO people behind the counter doing NOTHING. The chicken wings were very tiny and the fries had some weird tasting seasoning that was reminiscent of Cajun seasoning but with something else added that made them nasty. Ugh, I’ll NEVER take my nephew’s recommendations again!

I loved these wings 10 years ago. I was passing through and thought I’d try them. I’m not kidding when I say that the wings looked like they came from a small bird. A pigeon maybe. My husband and I looked at each other and said OMG… what are we eating right now!? Very greasy. Soggy with no flavor.

Just ordered from this place today and the food was terrible. My wings was soooo small I could barely pick them up and the fries had some seasonings on them that I was not aware of so did not even eat them. I just wasted $9.00 on this lunch and I will not EVER be visiting them again.

Hard luck has the best hot sauce for there wings. My husband is from Philly and loves the cheese steak Lol. Always a good idea when you want to kick back with some friends and get wings & a movie Kind of night.
