I loved this place. This was the first time I ever had the chance to visit the place.

This is a must see experience that just happens to also have extraordinary BBQ meat and sides. Ordering your protein next to those active smokers is photo worthy. Once you select your protein you enter the restaurant and pick your sides and fixings.

When you think “Texas Pit BBQ,” Hard 8 is as good as it gets. The price is reasonable, the staff is outstanding, and the food is legendary. I only wish they had one closer to Missouri.

Great food and great service! We got 1lb of brisket, 1/2lb of pulled pork and a bit of spicy sausage and it was perfect for 2. Save your appetite for the free beans at the back of the restaurant.

A fantastic experience. Everything from ordering the food and seeing it being prepared to asking for your favorite cuts of meat. A nice open seating area and a chill inside spot to catch up and eat some good BBQ. I’m from Tampa and my cousin took me here and it did not disappoint. Definitely get the brisket and make sure you get the spicy sauce to pour over it.

I found this spot going home one day, and the wife and I decided to check it out. The pull pork and jalapeno sausage were . The baked potatoes were good, but I think adding the cheese that goes on nachos to the selections will really make that baked potato pop! I really wasn’t filling the bacon wrapped peppers with chicken. It seemed a little undercooked, but my wife liked them. So it may be a preference thing! All in all, I’m definitely going back!

This is a later post. We went to the Hard Eight a while back, and the BBQ was off the chain. They say, “Everything Is Bigger In Texas.”

This is hands down my favorite BBQ place in Texas. Whenever I am in the DFW area I make it a point to find time to have dinner here. The only con, is that you leave smelling like smoke, so make sure you are wearing something you don’t plan to wear again that week.
