This is a beautiful restaurant. However, when we came in, there was a wait to be seated sign. Although the staff were all chitchatting at the bar, no one turned around to greet us even though they saw us. And yes, we are brown people. I had to ask if we were to be seated. Then, a long wait for a waitress who was not very attentive. When different guests arrived, she was all over them and did not bring the drink we requested. Did not check on us half as much as she did them, and they had just walked in. We were uncomfortable there but had ordered a meal already. I would recommend this restaurants food and the view is very nice. However, people in the restaurant business should treat everyone equally and with the most care because regardless of who they are or how they look. They are all providing the funds that pay your staff wages and keep the place open for business. Regardless of my feelings for this sort of treatment, I will say the food was good. The place and the view are beautiful. Very accessible. Kid friendly and spacious. I left this waitress a tip because I know their wages may not be as great. She could have gotten more. Anyways, good luck.

We received out of sight service from the great Ryan P! This place offers exceptional views and such a great atmosphere for a dining experience. My Fillet Mignon was so perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. There was talented live music being played and the docks were buzzing with activity from the water. A ten out of ten Birthday dinner. I can’t wait to go back and try something else.

Always a great experience with breathtaking views of the mountains across the lake. Updated patio dining area. Fire pit is a nice touch. Parking is limited so come early. Excellent bar and live music often.

The food was good for what we had. We had a good-sized party and were outside at the tables. There are no barriers, nothing to separate the patio, but they said they could not walk over 20 feet or let us pick up our order from the inside bar and take it to our table, so we had to order from the outside bar. No steak, no lobster, no way to accommodate us, so we had to have nachos and tacos, which were good. Will not go back!

Upon entering, we were asked if we had a reservation, to which we said we did not. The host seemed irritated by the response and said we were lucky because they had some open tables (there were at least 4 open tables, and the website doesn’t say anything about needing a reservation). I gave a 3 star for the service because our server made up for the host. We were seated in a high-top table with a STUNNING view of the lake and mountains. We ordered our food and waited for ages to receive it. The portions were small, and the flavor just wasn’t there. The website describes their establishment as “one fabulous place.” The view is the only thing I’d consider fabulous. The overall observation is that Harbor Grille’s goal is to be a fine dining establishment, but they still have food comparable to many chain restaurants.

Food was really good. We were curious how spicy the Spicy Chicken sandwich was. The server suggested getting the sauce on the side and that was a great suggestion. Just what was needed. They were also accommodating to my request of the seared ahi salad using the pepper coated ahi instead of sesame since I can’t eat that. Both dishes were really good. They have a sign out front asking for patience due to staffing. Although service was a bit slow, not a complaint. The staff was working hard and smiling. Give them business, sit back, be patient and kind and enjoy the view! And they are dog friendly on the patio which is a big plus for us!

It was extremely busy when we showed up. They told us it’d be a three hour wait time, if we wanted to eat in the restaurant. (We’ve eaten here a lot before the twins. I called earlier in the day to see if we could reserve a table for a wheelchair user. They said they could no longer do reservations. First come, first serve.) So, we opted to eat at the taco bar. The employees at the Taco Bar were down to earth and accommodating.

Not sure how this place could have anything less than 5 stars. Amazing views, amazing food & service. Had some of the best scallops I’ve ever had finished with an amazing lemon cake. Thank you to Heather S for the great service. She was so nice and personable. Everything was amazing including the very reasonably priced red Zinfandel which paired great with the huge ribeye. Great way to celebrate a belated anniversary and kid free date night while visiting family in Lakeside.

The food here was very outstanding! I had the Jambalaya. It was the best Jambalaya I have ever had. There were 4 of us, each one of us ordered differently we all tried each others food. We all agreed that each meal was outstanding and done very well! The only complaint and a very small one the carrots were very tough to eat not cooked enough. Other than that the experience was wonderful! Overall fantastic service from our wonderful waitress Abby!

Great place to bring guest or visitors when I went it was not busy and summer wasn’t here yet. But the place was kinda dead and very nice. The view while enjoying dinner is awesome weather it be summer or winter. The staff was friendly and I was overall happy with my service.
