The food was delicious and made fresh. Owners are so friendly and service is quick. We love this place especially they’re weekly specials. I recommend anyone to checkout this local business! The po’boys are top notch!

Amazing ambiance and equally amazing food and service! Everything was cooked to perfection! Hush puppies were crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, catfish was golden brown and crispy and moist and juicy on the inside! Shrimp was season to perfection as well!

Amazing Creole flavors that are genuine. Po Boys are huge and filling and coming with one side its well worth it. Vegetarian options like red beans and rice which was very flavorful. Best hushpuppies I’ve ever had. Fried catfish was amazing to. Reminded me of when my mother would make it with cornmeal breading. Well worth eating here and trying the flavors.

Great Cajun food and hang out with a relaxed vibe. Dog-friendly – they had biscuits and provided water bowls. The food was tasty and they have many Cajun staples – Po’ Boys, gumbo, red beans and rice, and more. I love that many of the fried options are breaded in corn meal and are gluten free. We will definitely be back!

Super friendly place, comfortable atmosphere, and good food! Loved the gator and crawdad po-boys. If it’s chilly out, grab one of the tables around the back. Looking forward to returning!

After a wide range of searching for cajun food, we came across “Happy’s Bayou Bites”…hands down, it was the best Cajun sultry food in the Dunedin area. The owner and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was amazing and fingerlicking good. I will definitely be back soon to try other dishes.

I finally made it and they did NOT disappoint. Took Friday off for my anniversary, hubby, my son and I decided on Dunedin for the day. We began here for lunch. It’s a quaint little place on the corner of Howard and 580. Food is made to order so if you are in a hurry, don’t be- stop, relax and take in the scenery in the outdoor seating area which is shaded with trees and umbrellas. My son and I had the Shrimp a la Creole with hushpuppies. I was never a fan of hushpuppies but I’ve found a couple of places that are not so bad and this is now on my yummy list. Hubby had the Gumbo and Muffuletta, which in my opinion is way better than the one we had in New Orleans recently. They have a variety of hot sauces so you can knock the heat up to your liking but mine was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and try a Po’Boy.

Delicious meal. Everyone in our party loved their food. We had the special which was a fish with cream sauce, blackened gator tail which was the best we had ever had. We even purchased some of the blackened seasoning. Great place with friendly staff. Took time to explain what was gluten free and celiac safe. Great vibe !
