The burnt chicken is really bitter and disgusting, the 1st time I got it this happened but I didn’t think too much of it but then it happened again. They burnt the chicken it’s pretty much inedible.. the shrimp doesn’t have flavor and it has a very weird taste to it. Don’t recommend it

Picked up takeout for me and my grandparents for dinner and was on the phone with my friend who said they love Happy Teriyaki. So I went ahead and ordered something for them too. The employees were awesome, a gal was being trained and I could just tell that it was a very fun happy *wink* environment. I wasn’t able to eat my food until the next morning but it was still so delicious. Word from the grandparents, who ate it hot and fresh, was also strikingly positive. My friends food is in my fridge still so he defaults to his original claim of loving Happy Teriyaki until I get it to him…

Tried Happy Teriyaki for the first time the other day. Great experience at this location! Our pickup order was ready when I arrived. The woman who helped me at the counter was friendly and efficient, in spite of it being the busy lunch hour. The food was perfect, much better quality than we expected for chain-restaurant, strip-mall cuisine. No questionable cuts of chewy meat, etc. Fried rice was light and fluffy, not too heavy on the oil. Highly recommend the spicy chicken! Perfect amount of heat. Will return 🙂

my side of rice was not even half way full and over cooked. when i took a bite it was hard as a rock. i’m so disappointed considering i paid $17 for a boba and a SIDE of fried rice. it was also cold so having to heat it up in microwave continued to make it more over cooked. i’m very upset i spent $17 for a half filled rice and boba.
