I’ve always been a fan of sushi, but I didn’t know good sushi (outside of cultural urban centers) until I ate at Happy Sushi. The fish is fresh, the Presentation is amazing, and the combination of flavors is beyond outstanding. Authentic and fast — and was surprised by the chef with a free roll to share at our table: something not yet on the menu! Springfield has little in the way of genuinely good sushi. Thank you, Happy Sushi!

Hole-in-the-wall amazing sushi. Owner gets overwhelmed with orders so make sure to place order ahead of time or get there when they open! Left roll is French Kiss (the best), right is the Yammay (good for cream cheese lovers), the flaming one was Man On Fire (good for spicy lovers)

To start off, I would give this place a 5 star, if the floor wasn’t sticky, the manager/owner was actually nicer, the food wasn’t so expensive and if they offered outside seating.

Absolutely amazing. This is, by far, the best sushi I have ever had, and surprisingly affordable. It was a very happy environment, and the people were incredibly nice and funny. The (made from scratch) food came really quickly, and the presentation was fabulous.

This is a small, cozy restaurant with great interior and friendly staff. I was greeted and welcomed very warmly. The sushi is very good! It’s interesting to see Korean kimbap ingredients mixed with Japanese sushi ingredients. The circumference of the sushi is very wide in size compared to other sushi places. It’s very tasty! I went in to order takeout for two rolls and they had my order ready within minutes. Definitely coming back.

Went to grab food for coworkers, and as I was sitting there the owner (I assume) was making our sushi and beckoned me over to give me a sample of a hand roll (the seaweed warp). My goodness!
