Ordered the lo mein shrimp. The flavor was okay. I would go back for a quick fix if needed. Prices are reasonable and there is a lunch menu. Sit down area is no longer available. Strictly pickup/takeout. Service was okay and fast. Enjoy if you go there.

I use to work at the Holden dragon it had the best food and this place reminds me of there. The general TSO is great, orange chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken. The cream cheese wontons are so delicious!

This place try to get away with giving plain rice, you order house fried rice if you’re at the restaurant and when you get home you’ll only see chicken, rice and onions…no veggies but when you order through Door Dash then you’ll see the works. It’s lazy and they get away with it because no one really opens their food right there before leaving.

I go here for my husband. He loves the egg rolls! It’s his favorite Chinese in Bristol. We have always carried out even before the pandemic and the orders have always been correct and the portions plentiful! Update as of 4-2-21 went to Happy Star for the first time in a few months. The eggrolls were completely different and not good at all. We were so disappointed because they used to be the best around and we were very frequent Happy Star customers. We have not been back…

My husband and I absolutely love this Happy Star Restaurant! He is picky and they accommodated him! He said I don’t want this but can you add more vegetables and so on. They were great and not only accommodated him but remembered both of our orders when we came back. It is absolutely delicious! This is the only Chinese restaurant that we eat at in this area.

I placed an order big enough for a family of 3 and was told they will be ready in 10min. They did not really began cooking until I arrived there to pick up which was ok for me. Chinese food is easy to make when there’s prep on hand and you can’t really just take anybody’s word for it when an order is placed over the phone. The lady was very pleasant and accommodating. Food was fresh and excellent. The only reason why I’m giving IV stats is because they use styrofoam containers. Sauces will always spill all over inside the bag while on the road unfortunately. It would have been just fine if they use those rectangular plastic containers that are spill-proof but I understand if styrofoam to-go containers are more cost-efficient to use at this time for the business owners.

Reasonable prices. Not sure why yellow rice is “normal” in this area for chinese food. Dishes that we have ordered don’t seem to have fresh veggies in the mix. Sauces are okay

I have ate here at least twice a month for couple years. It’s usually great and it cost me almost 40$ to feed three of us dinner. But last Saturday was my last time ever!!! The chicken was rotten !!it tasted funny and had a smell I’ll never forget! No use in calling cause they wanna give me food to replace what I payed for but they don’t understand no amount of dinners or whatever they got appeals to me again.chicken can kill ppl who eats bad chicken that’s not worth all the sickness I had for two days following.don’t trust just anyone cooking!!!!
