The food was just ok. Not worth the 30 minute drive. The ceiling in part of the place looked like it had a water leak and was dirty. Bathroom also dirty. The waitress was the only good part.

I’m really not one to complain. But last night I made it through 2 plates without a refill. It wasn’t till right at the end I got one. I’d understand if they were busy. But my server was on her phone settings down at a table the whole time. I’m a server too. I shouldn’t have to ask for a refill, especially after a buffet. We love the food but we definitely won’t be returning for a while.

Beware do not eat of this restaurant their food is old tasting the cottage cheese was spoiled the hot sour soup taste like plastic let’s just see the best thing while in their menu was fried broccoli when you look in look how dirty the carpet is then look up you’ll see all the mildew they have a water leak problem on the roof we pointed that out to the waitress she gave us a large discount on our bill but that’s still not good for the health department to come in to see it was gross nothing like eating with mildew up above your head don’t go here we will not go back unsafe for Public Healthnon

, Every time I visit this restaurant we’re charged a different price , the buffet doesn’t change it’s always the same subpar food so why change the prices depending on the weekday. It’s not my business however it’s my money helping support your business and that you’ve lost , plenty of dinners in monett that have consistent prices, the only thing consistent at happy house is poor food poor service and a belly ache when you leave…

They really need to update and deep clean the whole entire building because all you can smell is mildew. The health department really needs to come and check them out because I am pretty sure there is tons of health code violations. Plus the food tastes old and you barely see anyone changing out their food.

Ok, the food was actually good today as we got here exactly when they opened up. But an employee brought a child to work and actually had the child working, probably about 9 or 10 years old. This is so wrong. I waited tables for many, many years and never once did I consider bringing my child to work to help with silverware. What a shame.

I hadn’t been there in many years. Wasn’t as awesome as it used to be. Some things had been out on the buffet wayyy too long. The sweet and sour and cashew chicken sauces were diluted. But it was ok. Maybe bad timing….
