I stopped at Happy Dragon on 7/2/2023 for lunch on my way to Portland, ME. This restaurant is located downtown. We entered the restaurant and were quickly greeted by a friendly host who sat us in the dining room. I prefer the lounge but it seemed to be closed. The server gave us their menu and took our drinks orders. As is my custom I ordered the Mai Tai. It was in a 8oz glass, a bit small to what I am used to, however, it was as strong and tasty. We ordered from the lunch menu special plates. Very affordable, plenty to eat and satisfying. I give them Kudos for their golden chicken fingers. If you’re in town stop in and try them out.

I love this place so much! It’s like stepping back in time to an old school Chinese restaurant. Portions and prices are amazing. Always have to get my favourite- Wunam Vegetable with bean curd.

I was just in the area for a day and my friend and I ended up here. Tasted awful and the lo mein was a new level of awful. I ended up having food poisoning later when it was the only thing I ate and suffered for two days.

Anytime we are in that area, we try to do takeout from Happy dragon. The lunch specials are incredible, the food is always hot and fresh, and the service is so fast. We recommend getting the spicy general tso, vegetable lo mein, egg drop soup… And also a gigantic thing of rice. We really haven’t had anything from there that we didn’t like!
