This is the first time I write a comment for any places. The food is not bad. The server Tian Y is very rude. When I firstly entered the restaurant, she pretended she could not speak chinese even if I have confirmed with her. If she is not very comfortable with speaking chinese, that’s fine.

Came in after a walking tour of Chinatown for this low-key diner and were pleasantly surprised by the two vegetable dishes: Braided winter melon 紅燒冬瓜 and Shredded cabbage 手撕包菜. The winter melon was soaked in a flavorful broth and had a very soft texture that resembled cotton: a great companion for rice! The cabbage was intensely hot and sour but still within the pleasant range. We also enjoyed the appetizer of beef honeycomb tripe 涼拌牛肚. Since Hunan cooking is known for the use of cured meat, we were excited to try the Cured meat with bamboo shoots 臘肉筍尖. However, the dish was merely okay. The cured meat was way too fatty and the bamboo shoots were less fresh.

Excellent Hunan cuisine. Very family-like restaurant. Food is excellently tasty for the price. Portions are good. Been our Cafe for many times especially late night.

My go-to restaurant to order my pickup. Good taste, not greasy not oily, reasonable price and they do satisfy you, I always ask them to cook with less oil, and they do a perfect job. You know 90% of the chefs will not do as you asked, but they do, so they deserve this 5-star reviews. If you like Hunan cuisine, you don’t want to miss this restaurant.

Excellent food. Perfect amount of spice. A must stop location if you are in Chinatown. The fish fillet in hot pot is great and the sauteed green beans are excellent. Orders are enough for 2 maybe 3 people.

Authentic Spicy Chinese food. Good prices. One of best places in Chinatown. Everything has strong flavor and tastes very spicy and good but should avoid the salted beef because is very salty. Don’t mind the old/bad bad reviews.

Wonderful, delicious food! I’ve been eating in the chinatown area for 10+ years and this place got arguably one of the most authentic, tasty Chinese dishes. I highly recommend their spicy fish fillets or the slices of pork with tofu stir fry (unsure about the exact english names because we always order in Chinese but i’m sure anything on the menu tastes great). Tastes homemade and the restaurant is clean. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and are always willing to make accommodations with food allergies, special requests, etc. Highly recommend checking this place out!!

Ordered through chowbus. Got text would be ready in 30 minutes. Received text it was ready early. Walked to restaurant, gave them my name for order pickup, and they just shook their heads no and shooed me out. I called them from the sidewalk twice, and was promptly hung up on twice, apparently for the evil of speaking English. Worthless hole.
