If you remember the local burger joint, then Happy Burger is for you.

HAPPY BURGER made my tummy happy!!!! It was hot, fresh, juicy, and delicious. The onion rings were decent for pre-made, and the mushrooms were just okay. However, the burger comes in for the win and dominates!!!!

This is nostalgia of my younger days… Pepsi memorable covers the place. The staff is a “10+”, friendly, polite, clean and very quick.

Super friendly staff. Food was very good for a burger place. Will be back to try their shakes. Love that they seemed to have just enclosed the original stand to make the dining area.

I loved this place. I saw a local news story that this is the oldest hamburger stand on Route 66 and had to go. It was exactly what I hoped for. Real meat burgers prepared to order, fresh cut fries. All delicious. Thank you Happy Burger.

Excellent burger. Love the old building, I used to eat here back in the late 80’s early 90’s. Glad to see they are keeping around. Thanks for a great dinner. Very friendly people.

I absolutely adore happy burger, although if your burger is wrong id suggest either making them fix it correctly or just not getting it fixed at all. I asked for no mustard and there was mustard on my burger. They proceed to take pickles off with their own fingers and there was still mustard on the burger. It’s not a major complaint but it was a little disturbing.

Burger and fries tasted great. The 20min plus wait seemed excessive given that I came after the lunch rush. I wish I’d have read in the paper menu that the “jumbo” burger advertised as the special was only 1/4lb, and a small 1/4lb to boot. I’d pay more for more food or faster service but todays experience is a nah from me dawg.

The Route 66 Trip Advisor advertised Happy Burger to have a “World Famous” steak sandwich. I love nostalgic ma and pa diners so we loaded up and went…we were so Happy but unfortunatley the only thing close to deserving of that kind of recognition is the diarrhea that has poured out of me like a cartoon fire hose with rings of pressurized fluid dumping out little lava filled ring at a time. The sandwich was so dry that it formed a vacuum seal in my mouth almost immediately making it quite a task to chew so there is the possibility of the massive amounts of ketchup I had to use to lube my mouth with so I could swallow, could have been what induced the acidic yellow liquid pouring from my body. And there was no ice cream for shakes. The staff was friendly.

Edit – On 8-18-21 the dining room is closed… Quick, friendly service. Food was hot and tasty. Burgers are adequate but nothing special. Fries are gourmet, hand-cut, unpeeled and wonderful. Wide variety of food for such a small place. Indoor seating for 12 people.
