The order wasn’t ready until 30 minutes after they said it would be. My vegetable chow mein had no noodles for some reason. I actually did like the orange tofu, but it wasn’t anything special. I’ve had much better before, but at least the food was edible

I ordered the lunch special which was the orange chicken and shrimp fried rice which I substituted the shrimp for chicken 75 cents more no problem, first the lady didn’t know how to count missed giving me my $2.65 ok mistakes happen but that first bite of chicken was good so I said ok then the rest of the chicken was hard like the cook recook the chicken from it being old I should’ve known when that sauce was dark like that also the rice was horrible the only thing that was good was the egg roll and that was because probably all they had to do was drip it in the grease but u only have one time to play with me abt my food. I Dnt recommend this Chinese food at all

I can honestly state that the uncle and aunt who run this restaurant are among the friendliest and hardest workers I have ever met. They are the owners of this establishment. They catered to my family and I’s needs and provided us with excellent care despite being from a different culture, which made us feel at home. They provide fantastic food, and I’d even say that it compares favorably to the cuisine at more upscale Chinatown establishments. If you’re searching for a spot to eat delectable Chinese food, this is it. Prices are quite reasonable.

Affordably priced, tasty Chinese food in generous amounts! They offer decent lunch prices. For me, the egg rolls taste too strongly like peanut butter. They are large and delicious fried shrimp. It’s unusual for most restaurants to provide shrimp fried rice with their lunch specials. I adore rice. I enjoy spicy cuisine, so whenever I request it, they always give me hot sauce and up the heat.

It has been a couple of years since I got some takeout from Happiness Chinese Restaurant so I decided to give them another try. They used to have big, tasty egg rolls that were my favorite but things have changed. The egg roll was overcooked and was bland. I got an order of fried shrimp and they were fried so long that the shrimp was dry and it tasted burnt. I also ordered a shrimp egg foo young lunch meal but the patties were also fried too long so they were too crispy and tasted burnt. The fried rice was very bland and the shrimp in the rice tasted kind of old. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the whole meal was a disaster. I most likely will never come back. I am glad there are other Chinese food options in my area that don’t disappoint because this was bad.

This restaurant is wonderful. I adore family-run eateries with spotless establishments and delicious meals. Egg rolls are crisp, the vegetables taste fresh, and the dish has a wonderful flavor.

Tried just about every Chinese restaurant in the OP/FP area and this is comfortably the best. Orange chicken was light and crunchy instead of just soggy from the sauce. This is the first time in a decade+ i’ve been ordering general tao chicken that it actually had spicy flavor to it. The beef and broccoli wasn’t rubbery and mushy. Ready in 15min from online order as well. Inside was not setup for dine-in, but it’s a small location so take away is the best option regardless. Will be ordering from here moving forward.

I ordered the salt n pepper fish. It was very soft uncooked texture in the middle. Very unsatisfied. Happy Wok in Elmwood Park on Harlem has the best salt and pepper shrimp and salt and pepper fish by far so sorry happiness I’m going to have to rate you a – 0
