Its rare to find that the server is actually the owner of the establishment. Florence was very sweet as the diner was very busy . The meals were amazing, great chicken dinner (quarter chicken provided, white meat moist and well seasoned) and I would highly recommend the brown sweet potato wedges. The Swiss steak was very flavorful and had a great balance to it. Meaty texture not mushy like many are. The gravy was perfect not salty like I have eaten at other places. We ended dinner with a dessert of Custard with marchiano cherries Blended in, it was phenomenal. A must have.

Great home food place for dinner. Satisfied the whole family. Cheeseburger soup was tasty. Main courses got thumbs up all around. Dessert of pie, cake, and frozen custard just made it even better. Friendly, attentive service capped the experience nicely. Definitely someplace to come back to when we’re next in the area.

Great place, great food and great service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had 9 people in our party (including 6 kids) and the waitress was so gracious. We ordered a variety of food and everything was excellent. We will definitely stop again!

Great restaurant. Good food. Good price. Homey. My only complaint is that they close early. Many times we want to drive over for dinner, only to realize that we can’t beat their closing time as we live 30 minutes away.

The food was delicious! The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Everything is homemade and the desserts are excellent. I would recommend this place for your lunch, if the times they are open works for you! Limited hours.

Was in town for a wedding and needed to get lunch. We found this place driving thru Main St. it wasn’t very busy which helped get us in and out quickly. And for 4 meals with drinks, and a slice of pie it was $31. So not too bad on the price. Server was friendly. We would go back if In the area again

Six of us walked in to a nearly empty restaurant. Three employees saw us and made eye contact but not one welcomed us, told us where to sit or to seat ourselves so we walked out.

Nice place to grab a bite to eat while out on the motorcycle. Very limited hours; 11AM – 2:30 PM most days. Owner is a very nice older lady who is very personable.

This was a great dinner to visit. Lots of choices including ice cream and desserts. I had a really good bratwurst burger sandwich on a pretzel bun. My husband had the beef and noodles.
