Nice quaint place! If you want to experience some French cuisine this is the place for you! We sat on the Hannibal side which was a bar and lounge. Very relaxed atmosphere! Our bartender / waiter named Sean was fantastic! He explained a lot of the food’s on the menu and gave us his recommendations. We enjoyed the food we chose and definitely want to come back and try other things. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

The bartender Sean went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with our options for our event. He was knowledgeable and kind, as opposed to the typical cocky that’s accompanied by the knowledge, which was a breath of fresh air. The owner is the chef of the restaurant and he was also walking in checking on people. All in all was a good experience.

Beautiful, cozy restaurant in the heart of Winter Park. Romantic environment, comfy chairs with pillows, french music, dim lights, superb food and outstanding customer service. Went with my fiancee for date night and took advantage of Magic dining. All I can say is that we will definitely be coming back as it has become one of our favorite local restaurants.

High priced for what you get. Chicken crepe almost $30 and quite bland. Dinner companion had fish which was so over-seasoned it was virtually inedible. For excellent French cuisine, try Dovecote downtown.

Flavorful French cuisine at an affordable price!!! Absolutely delicious!! We loved everything we tried. Went for magical dining. The escargot was one of the best I have ever had!! Great ahi tuna. The filet mignon was like butter, and the peppercorn sauce was exquisite. Perfectly cooked veggies and mashed potatoes. The grouper was delicious as well. Creme brulee was the best dessert hands down, but we also enjoyed the freshness of the raspberry mousse!! We will definitely be back.

I’d like to start off by saying I’ve first visited Hannibals after living in Orlando for 15 years in October. I was completely blown away by the amazing up scale look at the facility inside and outside seating area. My first experience was at the bar with Will and Kaiyah. They were amazing and worked so cohesively together! The conversation AND amazing creation of drinks totally took me by surprise. I was destined to visit again. Since my first visit, I’ve been several other times including for Thanksgiving dinner. The meal was absolutely 10/10! I never had turkey so tender and full of flavor! Vincent was present like always and we thanked him for his talents and hospitality! I’m a repeat customer and will continue to be time and time again. Kaiyah and Will at the bar have become like family and it’s so wonderful to see them and have conversation! Vincent has such amazing skills and wish I could borrow him in my kitchen at home a few nights! Thanks for everything and if your looking for an amazing place in Winter Park, look no further than Hannibals on the Square!

Great for sitting outside and people watching. The outside has a Nola vibe to it. The food wasn’t anything impressive but good non the less. I was disappointed with the calamari appetizer. The portion was extremely small and had 4 to 5 little pieces of squid. The French onion soup was good. The picture I took of it doesn’t do it justice.

I had come here once before and enjoyed my meal well enough to return again last night. However, this will be my last time dining here. The only compliment I can make is about the meal itself, which was solid. Every other facet of my experience was disappointing. The Negroni was especially weak despite its inflated price; this has been a recurring issue for me and other friends drinking here. Yet, the lowlight of the meal was the service. Our server was the most inattentive staff member I have ever experienced! After she initially tried to rush our order, she then simply vanished. It seemed that her friends were dining there since she spent the majority of her time chatting with folks at one table while ignoring us (and others) completely. After we finished our meal, we waited an inordinate amount of time to receive the bill … and even longer to pay it. Thankfully, another team member eventually noticed we were motioning to pay and got her attention. She brought the bill, and although I immediately placed my card on the table for her to process as she stood there, she disappeared once again. Some 40 minutes after finishing our meal, we were able to pay and leave. Paying this waitress to socialize while ignoring customers is unacceptable, and I blame management as much as her for this poor level of service. With other restaurants in the area, there is no reason to return.

This was my wife of 24 years and my very first outing, in our new cities, new downtown hipster upscale, ritzy area. And we cannot have been more pleased! Hannibal’s on the square and the French restaurant attached, which unfortunately was not open because it was, late Sunday night, when we arrived, was an amazing experience with handcrafted cocktails and desserts at a very low price. Furthermore since Uber was price surge charging because of spring break in Orlando and we just wanted to go home on a $10 Uber ride, Uber happened to be $40 to $50, so the manager himself drove us home for five bucks gas and a handsome tip to the waitress Tara! What a night it was perfectly chilly but not too cold and my wife and I being from South Florida and Texas sat outside and enjoyed every minute of our free time together, that is since we could not get our teenagers to go do anything fun with us …so we made our own fun. And was it perfect, wow very impressed! We will definitely be returning and recommending. The espresso martini and the Hannibal are definitely the two cocktails you should try whether it be alcoholic or not, and the triple chocolate cake with raspberry drizzle and vanilla ice cream on the side, was to die for, since it was late and the kitchen was closed and the creme brulee was not pre-made thank God. It has been probably two and a half years since we had a date night and it was well worth it thank you Hannibals, thank you Tara and thank you to the manager, whose name I’m awful with remembering for the wonderful ride home, it was truly an above and beyond experience!
