We had patty melts. DELICIOUS and perfectly prepared. Piping hot when we got them. The ‘house fries’ were so fresh and perfectly cooked golden brown. The strawberry shake was delicious. Glass of chocolate milk was huge. The waitress was so friendly and accommodating! She checked on us several times. AND another waitress brought our food and also checked on us several times. To top it off, the cook greeted us in the dining area and asked how everything was. We are staying in Hohenwald for a week and don’t need to find any other place to eat. Looking forward to meals here for the rest of the week.

Listen, you’re going to spend about 10 a person right now anyway. Yeah I know, I don’t like it either. But for decent food and the waitress was awesome? I had no problem spending the money. Server was great, kept our group’s drinks filled up and checked on us often, but we waited for 2 hours on our food and it was mediocre when it came. Might have been better had their front door not fallen off and taken half their staff but based on the experience provided I have to give it 3 stars.

Don’t waste your time! We was headed to Dickson but at the last minute decided to eat local BIG MISTAKE. We seated ourselves and after 5 minutes someone appeared. We waited an hour and still no food. My biggest problem was we only ordered fried eggs and French toast and when we asked to pay for our drinks the waitress said your order is up I’ll be right back, she didn’t come back and a decent restaurant wouldn’t have charged us for our drinks after everything. There was no wait line and and half tables already had their food when we came in. I’m guessing most of their reviews are family. So just to clarify half the tables already had their food when we placed our order and we weren’t the only ones complaining about the wait or walking out . I’ve worked in the restaurant business on and off for years so I understand how having an understaffed kitchen can frustrating.

Since new ownership has been in place, a good restaurant has only gotten better. The best salads in town and their jumbo shrimp–grilled or fried–is fantastic. Burgers and pies are outstanding as well. Never a bad experience here.
