Great new spot. Went there only a few days after they opened, and it seems like they’re still ironing out the kinks. They hadn’t opened their seating section yet, but they’re working on it. The food was great, got the double burger and a fish fry. The burger was greasy (read delicious), and the fish fry was traditional (but no bread).

My new favorite burger in Madison. (Also a big fan of the Graze burger). Bun, seasoning, condiments all on point. Kids loved the chocolate shake. I very much appreciated the compostable containers, even for the condiments! Decided I wanted to try all the things so got the double cheeseburger, cheese curds and chili cheese fries paired with a beer from next door. Ate kale salad the next day to make up for my cheat night!

Hanks just opened at the back of Muskeelounge. We had the fish fry and double burger – both great! The bluegill fish fry is very similar to something mint mark has been serving for a while, and it’s on point. The double hanks burger is an unapologetic grease bomb slathered with sauce and grilled onions. They’re planning to add more seating so that will help with the crowds who are already piling up to check it out. We’ll be back for sure!

Solid 3.8. They salt the cheese curds, which is overkill. Burger was really good. Upper crust version of an A&W. They don’t skimp for how expensive it is. Still a new spot, going to try again after a few months.
