I came to the Rockville location. First thing that stood out was that there was an employee stocking supplies and didn’t say anything. I said hello to her and she responded. She didn’t take my order so I went to the kiosk machine to place it.

Hangry Chicken is the ultimate destination for anyone who loves spicy, flavorful, and crispy chicken. This Nashville Hot Chicken chain has certainly made a name for itself, and after trying their food, it’s easy to see why.

Tried chicken wings and tenders with waffle, both with angry hot . Signed the waiver and I must say angry hot is no joke. Love the spice flavor. I can handle extreme spice and hot food. But even for me I was about to give up just after eating 3 wings. Next time I’ll stick to medium heat level.

Was really looking for a saucy spicy chicken sandwich. Although this one was good it didn’t hit the spot. Either the slaw or a sauce on the chicken was too sweet and it wasn’t spicy at all. The size of the chicken was good and the fries were excellent but the sweetness overpowered the sandwich. Pickle were awesome too. I’ll give it another try in hopes to really get that saucy spice I’m looking for.

Finally a REAL chicken spot in Rockville!The chicken is fried to perfection,and loaded with spicy flavor. Staff is superb,very welcoming and courteous. Great vibe, good music playing and colorful eye pleasing decor. Manager is very nice also

Oh I totally forgot to take a picture first because oh my god this chicken is fire. I had to remember that I wanted to post a review about this chicken because it’s the first time I’m trying it and it’s local for me so I was really hoping to have some delicious crunchy fried chicken wings and was trying to find the usual Chinese restaurant but I came across a Hangry Joe’s and I’ll never look back. AMAZING. . these chicken wings are everything I look for in a chicken wing extra crunchy deliciously fried not horribly seasoned and the chicken is delicious Lee tender inside while the skin is extra crunchy on the outside. These chicken wings are perfect.

I was super excited for this location to open up. I’d been driving by for weeks looking for it to be open, so when I saw they were finally open, I made a U-turn and rushed in. It has a typical fast food vibe, with a fun colorful mural on one wall. The menu consists of chicken, in wing, strip, and sandwich form, waffle fries, soft drinks, milkshakes, and smoothies. I got the 6 wing box, which comes with a couple different sauces. You can choose mild to hot I chose medium, and apparently you have to sign a waiver to get hot. The wings were pretty good, hot and juicy, but they were inconsistent with the cook and spice level. Some of the wings were crispy, while some were kinda wet, a little soggy I guess. Overall though, they were pretty tasty, and spicier than expected. Next time I’ll try the sandwich, and perhaps update my review. They’re located next to Roy Rogers, and there’s plenty of parking.

Very good food if you love some heat. Chicken had a good crust and was juicy. Flavor was definitely there. Sides were pretty good too. Coleslaw was crunchy and not too runny or watered down. Fries were seasoned to perfection. Service was nice and very attentive. Atmosphere was pretty coo and relaxed.
