I am not an authority on Hawaiian food but I’ve eaten enough of it to know when it’s good. Let me tell you, this is GOOD. Not too busy on a Thursday night so service was very fast. My go to is always the Kalua pork and Katsu chicken. Both here are excellent! The other half of the plate lunch is always the rice and macaroni salad. Here, you have a choice of noodles or rice and I opted for the former and don’t regret it. The Mac salad… on point! Decent value, too. Almost more food than one person can eat.

1st time here and I was the only person who was there for 20min minimum. I ordered loko moko with gravy on the side. WELP! there was a lot of gravy on my food. I should have checked before leaving smh… food was ok. People were nice even tho my order was wrong. I had to scrape as much as I could off.

Everything about this visit was phenomenal. We came in and were greeted immediately. The cashier was a charismatic gentleman and was very helpful with our questions. I got the mochiko chicken and my boyfriend got teriyaki chicken. It was kind of spendy but the amount of food we got was plentiful. I personally found it filling and delicious. Happy we stopped in ♡

Had the noodle, steak, and shrimp. Steak was cooked perfectly, sauce and spice was on point. Take your food next door to the Press. Bartender made a great old fashioned not too sweet. Good atmosphere good music. Good times.

THEY DO NOT TAKE CASH!! Not bad food! The spam musubi was a 10/10! The chicken i ordered was was EXTREMELY salty and very dry, id probably try a different entree when i come back. The garlic soy noodles are super good, and the ginger slaw was crunchy and refreshing! My only real complaint was the gentleman working. He had mentioned that because they dont take cash i can pay for mt food next door at press. I went over there, nd there were probably 3 people ordering drinks that were there before me. I was in no rush so i waited until the gal behind the bar greeted me. She was super friendly and efficient. It did take a solid 10 minutes to get me checked out, but i was in no rush. I went back next door to grab my food, and the gentleman that was there wasnt happy with how long it took the gal to cash me out, saying that she doesnt like to do anything for them even though they are ran by the same company. That put a damper on the whole expierence for sure, because that gal was just doing her job, and she was the only one behind the bar.

this was the worst food i think i have ever put in my mouth garlic chicken taste like chicken nuggets and the teriyaki sauce taste like out of a expired bottle and the rice is not cooked. presentation is on point but taste is awful super salty.
