Authentic Korean cuisine in Bay Area. Been here a couple of time.

We went there at 11 AM Friday noon in mid August.

I love a good seolleongtang (설렁탕) and this place makes an amazing one. They have many other traditional Korean dishes – all solid options.

I am a Korean who loves cooking Korean food. I don’t usually go out for Korean food because it is hard to find a restaurant that meets my expectations. When my husband and I saw this place, we were skeptical, but wanted to give it a go. I had beef rib soup (Galbitang) and my husband had ox bone soup, which i also cooked at home a couple of days ago. All of our food was fantastic. They are legit Korean food and taste exactly the same as how I cook and what I eat in Korea. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to try authentic Korean food. We are coming back to try other dishes!

Came here after trying Daeho in Japantown SF. On a Monday evening around 7pm, there was no wait and we were immediately seated as a group of 4. We ordered the same as we did at Daeho, the braised beef rib with cheese and extra rice cakes. I really enjoyed the kimchi side dish a lot more than at Daeho, and found the gal bi Jim to be about the same in taste and quality, but it came with a lot more meat here! I recommend this place over Daeho due to the lack of wait times and overall better portion size.

This is a modern Korean restaurant, serving new style of Korean cuisine. The servers are very friendly and smiley. The food quality is good, the portion is big for the set. I want to try the 2 big pot next time.

Saw a new Korean restaurant with kalbi Jim so had to try it out. Stopped in for dinner with my friends. We ordered mandu dumplings and kalbi Jim for 3 and 1 kid, the staff ensured us it was enough food. Dumplings was really tasty, probably the best I’ve had in a restaurant. The kalbi Jim was tender and really good. Overall great food and friendly staff. Portion size is pretty good, we still had a little too take home.

Try a new Korean restaurant in Milbrae. It only takes the waitlist on site. Waiting time could vary. We waited for about an hour. At one point, around 7:30 pm, they stopped taking the waitlist and opened it again when there is empty seat. We orde combo suyuk, which is tendon, brisket, and oxtail soup. It comes with enoki mushroom and chives. It is for 2 people and the meats are pretty generous. Bancan includes radish kimchi, fish cake, daikon kimchi, and daikon wilth sliced chili. Kimchi and soup are bottomless. The soup is bland, so you need to add salt and pepper. It is similar to galbi tang soup taste except galbi tang soup is clear. We asked for chili paste and mixed it with soup. Service is good and fast.

Modern Korean place in millbrae! It just opened a few months ago so we were excited to try it. We went around 5:30 on a Sunday and got seated right away, but the restaurant was full by the time we left.

Super friendly staff and overall enjoyed the modern and clean vibe of the restaurant. I tried the seolleongtang and galbijim. I would say the soup was a bit lacking in richness and flavour but the meat portions and quality were top tier. Galbijim was good but slightly smaller portion than expected.
