The food was good. It is typical diner food. Everything we ordered was good. We did need to add salt/pepper to some things, but not unexpected. Staff was friendly and place was clean. We would eat here again.

We did not have to wait for a table which was wonderful because we had a time crunch. This was my first time here. The people that we with me have been here many times and recommended it. We we were seated I notice how nice and clean the dining area was. Oh and the wonderful display of desserts. YUM!!! The menu is extensive and they serve breakfast all day. We placed our order and our food came out hot and quick. It was awesome. The food was very good. The soup was a bit more salty than I usually like but it was good. I will come again.

A classic New England diner inhabiting what once was a Howard Johnson’s restaurant. High quality diner food served by pleasant and efficient staff. The chicken salad sandwich and chicken alphabet soup or delicious. The special handling need was great. And the deserts looked wonderful! Great hours if you need to eat after 9 pm.

This is my favorite diner in Hamden. The staff there is always great. There is never really a wait for a table. The drink of your choice will shortly follow you being seated. Ordered food shortly thereafter, and cooked to perfection.

Classic dinner feel. Generic dinner menu but some daily specials that added something fun to choose from. Wasn’t that crowed at lunch which was nice. Staff was attentive however they sometimes had loud conversations with each other very close to us that would disrupt our own conversation. Would come back again if craving diner foods

Cob Salad about the worst I have ever had. Un washed lettuce and pretty limited as to what else was in it. Complained and they took the price of the coffee off the ticket.
