Hamburger hut is a staple in Barbourville! It’s one of the last places around to get a real hamburger patty. The staff is friendly and the bring the food out to your car. Prices are going up everywhere, while what you get is pretty good. The price seems a little high. It does not stop me from going back though.

Ordered a fish with tarter only and it came with a square piece of fish and tomatoes. Ordered a tenderloin with everything. Came with lettuce and tomato. No mayo, no onion. And, both sandwiches were only tolerable. Won’t stop here again. Oh, the onions rings were decent.

I wish I could rate this a negative 5 stars.. I am Very disappointed the fish I had was nasty and extremely greasy the flavor was nothing but old grease. The broccoli bites had the old grease taste. My wife ordered a hamburger stake and all it was is two beef patties and grilled onions there was no a1 sauce which was supposed to be on it to make it the stake hamburger the flavor in general was bland no flavor at all to the meat. I was very upset and disappointed and will not be back. I do not recommend this place at all.
