Good local spot for BBQ. The sauces were good and the food wasn’t over cooked. Service was great, they were attentive and helpful. Plenty of beers on tap. Good place to watch the game and have good food. We will be back.

This is not good soul food. I didn’t have the ribs, brisket or tri tips so I can’t vouch for the BBQ. I ordered the 4 piece fried wings with Mac n cheese and hoppin jons. The hoppin jons was nasty and didn’t taste like traditional southern style hoppin jons. Tasted like it had salsa and some other spicy sauce in there. The Mac n cheese had large gummy tasty noodled with a glop of cheese thrown on top (clear they didn’t season the sauce). The fried chicken wings were large and under cooked. I also had the potato salad which was gross. It had a vinegary taste and was swimming in mayonnaise. The service was poor. Only 2 ladies and my server was missing in action even though there were less than ten people. I had to ask the other server to run my bill since my server didn’t check on me. No offer of refill. Just very poor service with mediocre food (only gets 2 stars because at least the cornbread was decent).

Good flavor but a bit pricey for a lunch. They have no lunch menu so expect to pay close to $20 per person. I got the BBQ pork ribs with the spicy sauce which had good flavor. Cole slaw was decent. Green beans were overcooked.

The food was great and the service was even better. We took my friend here to celebrate his 88th birthday. I had called ahead to see if they had any kind of cakes and they said they did not , but we could bring our own. We decided to just go somewhere after dinner for dessert. But after we were done eating the server came out with a dessert with a candle on it. That really made his day. As for the food, it was all excellent. There was five of us and the bill was under $200 . And that was with two appetizers. My friends took a lot of food home with them. I highly recommend this food establishment. I believe our server was Elaine. But everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be eating here again.

The best BBQ in Orange County period ! Super tasty Chicken tri tip and ribs . Cooked to perfection moist meaty with smoke and topped by the best sweet and spicy BBQ sauce I have ever had . Should be sold in a bottle at Costco. Great portions. Well packaged fresh and hot. The best bbq beans around also and the banana pudding is well worth ordering in large only. Corn bread and Mac n cheese is excellent. I have eaten inside lots of times but it’s so nice to have it delivered. If you love BBQ visit in person but rest assured this bbq is great as well delivered. Well done Hambones your BBQ is great . Great happy hour specials. You can’t beat tacos or wings and a pitcher of beer for $20 while the NFL games are on. I love the pumpkin cider. The place is clean, the food is good, the staff is friendly and price is right. I love this place.

Hambones is great bbq! Had the baby back ribs, mac n cheese and fries last night. The ribs were seriously perfect! I usually get the brisket on a bun and that is awesome as well. Several visits, no complaints.
