The restaurant has been open for 15 years with the same owner Hamamori. It is an upscale Japanese restaurant. Every sushi piece is unique under the Executive Sushi menu (8 pieces Hamamori Gems). We enjoyed every dish ordered at Hamarori Lunch Tasting Menu, e.g., miso soup taste is very unique, etc.

The food here was decent. Nothing amazing about the sushi or sashimi. But the reason for 1 star was the service was terrible. It took half an hour to place the order and another hour to get our food which was still missing an item from our order. When we asked about the last item it took another 20 minutes to have it prepared. All in all not a great service experience even though there were only 3 more customers in the restaurant during this time so not too busy. Basically very slow and inattentive servers.

Food is amazing (possibly the best sushi in town), ambiance is great, and the waitress that served me was phenomenal. However, service was a bit slow as the wait between dishes was quiet long. But, I guess I did not mind as much because it was Valentine’s Day. Definitely would recommend.
