Best restaurant in PalPark, hands down. I did order takeouts from this place before, and honestly their Yukgaejang claps every single time, it’s sooo darn delicious. Highly recommend if you enjoy spicy broths. If you want a hearty homemade Korean meal that hits the spot, just come here.

Like visiting your Grandma’s house for a meal. Completely lives up to the name! Portions are huge, and you’ll think about your grandma asking, “Aren’t you eating more?” Bring a friend – these portions should be shared with a friend.

If you are Korean, you know it’s hard to find a good yukgaejang in the states… especially yukgaejang kalguksu. After trying a few places out in LA, DMV area, and NJ, THIS PLACE NAILED IT. And I mean they really ATE. First of all, the portion is what your grandma would give you. You won’t see the bottom of this bowl for AWHILE. If you got a stomach for more, ask for some rice after finishing the noodles. This yukgaejang had so much spicy pepper oil flavor and the amount of gosari (fernbrake) and meat was no joke. You can definitely tell it’s going to be fire just by looking at it.. The noodles were perfect too, not too thin, not too thick, just how your grandma would make it. I’d def come back 15/10. It was the best $16.99 I spent in awhile.

Gives good mix of side dishes. Everything taste as it should. Better place than usual around here.

The portion here is HUGE so if you don’t eat as much, then consider sharing anything you order with another person. For example, we ordered clam noodle, seafood noodle, and spicy cold noodle and couldn’t finish any of them… especially since they are also generous with side dishes.

My friends and I were searching for good restaurants that were open on New Year’s Day. The original restaurant for pho, that we wanted to go to was not open. Yelp showed that Halmae Noodle had pretty great reviews and they were already open at the time, so we decided to check it out.

This restaurant fits the perfect definition of hole in the wall in Korea. Fast comfort food and at a great affordable price. Perfect hang over food! The server was super kind and nice. Definitely stop by when you party too last night.

Tried this place for the first time. My coworker and I got the pork and kimchee fried rice. Let me know if you can find the pork in it. I dug through the dish and found 1 piece and I ate it already. Big portion, but no meat. 15+ bucks for rice and cabbage.

We ordered the spicy seafood noodle soup and spicy beef soup. The soup is okay, but noodle tastes not as good as expected. It tastes like overcook, but of dispointed.
