My family and I were promptly seated and orders taken around 7:15. I was able to try the salad bar that came with the prime rib special. It was fine. We were only acknowledged once during the hour and a half we waited when the waitress took my water away for a refill and returned it with her hand on my straw. We were then ignored for over an hour before we finally left out of frustration and hunger around 8:45 without receiving any of our orders. After hearing so many great things this was easily the worst “dining” experience we have ever had.

Fantastic out-of-the-way place. Small town dining. Diverse menu with lots of classics. We got the ribeye specials and the medium-rare was perfectly cooked! It’s so worth the drive!!!

Stop here for lunch and we were very surprised. We had the lunch special, it was two breaded pork chops and chess potatoes for $8.95. And it was very tasty, and obviously home made!
