Following a burial at sea, we found ourselves, a party of 20, arriving at the restaurant an hour earlier than our reservation for an early dinner. The staff was terrific! After speaking with the hostess, we rendezvous at the bar to relax and reflect on the day’s event. A very short time passed and we were advised that our table(s) were ready and we could go upstairs. We were ordering from the menu and our server Blair was terrific. Food was delicious. The manager, Kerry, and her staff did a wonderful job for my family and friends as we honored our loved one’s wishes to be interred at sea.

Overall this was a nice restaurant. The best part of the meal was the scallops and grits appetizer. It was amazing! The tuna steak was good but the presentation wasn’t very appealing. The tuna tacos were presented well but the tuna was chewy. The lobster grilled cheese was tasty but the bread was a bit bland. I’d like to go back and try the prime rib one of these days.

I have been here one other time and was pleased. However my last visit was terrible. I treated a friend to lunch thinking it would be as nice as my prior visit but this time it was disappointing from the start. We had a reservation and upon entering there was no one at the front. We waited several minutes before a server stopped and said she would be with us shortly. A few minutes passed and the bartender yelled across the room for us to go find a seat anywhere. Mind you the restaurant was mostly empty. None of the tables were set. Once seated a server came over. She was pleasant but not accommodating and was rushing about. After our meal she didn’t offer us coffee or dessert, just the check. We had to ask her if we could have dessert.

Always a great time here!! I’ve been coming here for over a year, usually for football Sunday, however since then still come for the food. The prices are very fair in comparison to the mediocre overprice food at most restaurants. Bartenders are always attentive and great!

The food was really good. My only issues was flies. There were a few and that was quite annoying. The brussel sprouts appetizer was good needed some balsamic reduction which I asked for, the chicken wings were delicious cooked perfectly. The salmon was cooked perfectly as was my husband braised short ribs. I didn’t like that the tables were so plain, no candles or little vase with flowers, the tables needed something on them to give the restaurant a little pop!!

Food and service were pretty good! Drinks were pretty bad! Bartender (young guy) could not make a margarita. Sent it back and came back the same. I think maybe he was using peach schnapps or something. It was so awful. Tequila, lime juice, triple sec, (optional simple syrup). Not hard. Will try again cause otherwise good and thinking bartender was new.

Been wanting to try this place for years. The front desk host was not very friendly and proceeded to sit us at a table that was so dirty with food all on the floor. When I commented her reply was “we have a bus boy”. New table had left over food on the floor and table top. Waitress saw our face and quickly cleaned it up Kitchen extremely slow. 30 minutes for appetizers. Dinner 10 minutes later and it was cold. I get service suffers because of lack of work but this place is being run by young kids who need to be taught proper ways to service. Regret this was a one and out
