Wow. Visiting from Nebraska and decided to come in for coffee and breakfast. Great cup of coffee. Rich and aromatic. Not too acidic or harsh. Now for the breakfast….. smoked salmon avocado toast. I normally make avocado toast at home. Avocado spread on toast, maybe a poached egg, bacon. This? It Had a cream cheese spread with avocado. This gave it such a creamy luxurious texture. Then it had some amazing smoked salmon and these little crispy (fried!?!?) capers on it. And if that wasn’t great enough, there were fresh cucumbers and red onion that had been tossed in lime juice and oil!! At least that’s what I believe it was. Either way it was the perfect amount of acidity to cut through the creamy richness of the avocado and cream cheese. All served on top of a chewy toasted sour dough bread. Oh and let us not forget the charred Lemon slice on top. And this all created, in my humble opinion, the best breakfast I have had in California. I will be taking this combo of flavors and textures back to Nebraska and trying my darnedest to recreate it at home. I know it won’t be the same. So I suppose I’ll have to visit again. 🙂

Food is great. Baking goods (banana, pumpkin, etc) are excellent. They have bitesize fruit cobblers, if you don’t want to eat a full pie slice. Their breakfast (omelette) was plentiful and very tasty. On the bad side, plain black coffee tasted burned and the bathroom was very dirty. Still, it is an excellent place for a coffee break with great space inside and outside.

Coffee about as good as you can get at 7/11. They wouldn’t let us use the bathroom because it was undergoing a “deep cleaning.” At least if you go there after Reading this review you will experience a clean can.

You place your order at the front and they deliver it fast and hot to your table. We had breakfast, lots of choices. The Mocha I ordered was yummy too. This place is old and a bit dated but definitely worth a visit while here in Half Moon Bay even if just for a coffee and a pastry.

Nice place for having breakfast or brunch. Many choices of dishes. It also has pastries. Food is ok. We order Mediterranean avocado toast and chicken fried steak. I like the chicken fried steak. Gravy is good. Wish the hash brown a bit crisper. You order and paid first at cashier.

Perfect place to sit outside with coffee and breakfast. They offer a variety of avocado toast or make your own up. Coffee is great here too. Lost 1 point for not listing the items. If I had known mine had cilantro I would have changed my order.

Lovely little hidden gem in the small town of Half Moon Bay. Had a toasted bagel with a side of bacon and a vanilla latte. Delicious. Definitely worth trying. Lots of cakes and buns as well on offer if you just fancy a sweet treat.

I’m so glad we stopped in here! Everything we had was amazing… Breakfast sandwiches, breakfast wraps, pancakes, scones, and pumpkin bread just to name a few. The workers were friendly and it was such a cozy environment. They do get prrtty busy and the line can be long but it’s worth the wait!!
