Wow!! Great place to have dinner. You might want to consider making a reservation. This is a popular place. We went with friends and had prime rib, crab cakes, and burgers. They are well known as the best bourbon bar in the area. Deasley was our wonderful server.

We’re not big fancy food eaters so we stuck with the Waygu burgers with Pimento cheese fries as an appetizer. I ordered mine medium and it came out perfect; nice and juicy. My husband ordered his medium-well and it came out very well done, but he said it still tasted good. They also didn’t put any toppings on his, only cheese. He had ordered it with ketchup and Mayo. The sweet potato mash was akin to a sweet potato casserole and was delicious. My sweet potato fries had some type of coating on them, and they too were really good. The pimento fries were good, but not $9 good. The portion was equivalent to a side of fries at most restaurants. Ranch was Hidden Valley style. I’m a ranch lover and I would think they would have made theirs in house, but that was no biggy, we still really enjoyed the meal. Our waitress was wonderful. We did mention my husbands burger issues to our waitress after we got the check as we didn’t want any discount, just to give feedback. She said it was actually a pretty common mistake. For $16 they should be able to not mess up a burger, but as I stated it was still good and my husband said he would get it again. He’s one of those that will not send food back. He could order chicken and they could send a piece of fish and he would just deal with it. Food was all good, but outside of the ambiance, I don’t think they’re really anything super special.

Luke, is amazing. He suggests a great drink. Makes sure your food and drink pair well, and is so easy to talk to. Hale house has great food, the best atmosphere, and the best service. Celia is a charming bartender and just wonderful to chat with.

Shared several appetizers, all of which were amazing! Prices were reasonable, service was good, and I would definitely go back. We tried the angel hair crab cakes, pimiento fries (with chili,) bourbon & bacon wrapped shrimp, and buffalo chicken wontons. We also enjoyed a side of asparagus and sweet potato bake (to. die. for.) and finished with peanut butter pie. Loved it all! Well-appointed bar with huge whiskey selection.

This place was fantastic. We had Cindy as our server and she was the kindest! Definitely made our experience worth it! The food was delicious and well priced. I would definitely come back! The only downfall was there was no elevator leading to the speakeasy. Would have liked to taken my grandmother down there.
