They are newly open, understandably the menu is condensed and few options; however: their food is really amazing and authentic! A true delight and great choice if you want to have good & easy Xinjiang cuisine!

The restaurant is divided into two sections, and only one server serving each section. We waited 30 minutes until someone finally came to take our order. After 15 minutes, when the other table came after us already have their food, we were informed that our order was lost and we had to order again. Fantastic. The big plate chicken was the only good thing in the entire experience.

The taste is good. I really love the Spicy Rice Noodles. The Laghman is mild spicy which surprised me. I only give a 4 star because the level of spicy is a little different than the one I got in Xinjiang and the portion is a bit small. But I still recommend this restaurant.

I strongly recommend Halal street Hot Pot & Xinjiang Cuisine, the most authentic restaurant among all Xinjiang restaurants in the Bay Area.

I recently had lunch at Halal Street Hot Pot & Xinjiang Cuisine, and I must say it was a disappointing experience. While there were a few positive aspects, the overall experience fell short in several areas, leading me to believe that they are not ready to survive in the competitive hot pot scene in the Bay Area.

We’re not from Xinjiang but we have tried more than five authentic Xinjiang restaurants in both SoCal and Bay Area. We wouldn’t come back for second time. First, the bun was not even warm when served, which is not what we expected at all. Second, the shish kebabs is middle eastern kebabs but not Xinjiang kebabs we had in other places and more like shawarma. Third, the big plate chicken is ok but not amazing in its ingredients and flavor. We had better ones. Last it’s clear that they’re short staffed so we waited long to get served and we didn’t get anything to drink until our second dishes and we asked for it. It may be overrated but check it out with caution.
