SO good!! Excellent service, everyone who works there is kind and friendly. These are some of the best fries I’ve ever had – perfectly seasoned, very crispy on the outside, soft on the inside! And the chicken/lamb gyro mix is addicting!!

The idea of having different food cultures represented in a shipping container is very hip, but the Halal Street (which we tried) left us disappointed. We ordered Philly Cheese Steaks; what came was meat and extra-extra cheese wrapped in gyro bread. So for 3 Philly Cheese streaks for $29, our expectations were not met. Perhaps the gyro rice items would have been better choice, but if there are no other Halal option near by, this is all you have got. Sorry, brothers, I couldn’t recommend with a higher stars at this point.

Came in for a craving for gyro over rice. This place in all of metro Detroit serves the best gyro over rice or New York style rice platter. The food was served hot and it was seasoned properly and had flavors melting in my tongue. It was very delicious. 10/10 recommended by me.

Great service, my order of falafel (just a side of falafel, not the salad) was steaming hot and very good. It wasn’t the best falafel I’ve had in the Detroit area, but Halal street did a very good job. When you’re craving falafel, nothing else really scratches that itch. It was still hot 40 minutes later when I got home. Shukran!

Let me start off by saying one of my absolute favorite foods to eat is the New York style chicken and rice platter. These guys have nailed it. I have tried many different places in New York for rice and platter including the original Halal guys. This one is pretty close to great tasting authentic New York style chicken and rice platter. Had it yesterday for the first time. Absolutely cannot wait to have it again!

Every time I see a place that offers the NYC platter/gyro type of food, I run to try it. This time, I feel ripped off. The chicken was barely flavorful and the white sauce tasted very floury. I’m not even sure what it’s made from but it wasn’t good at all. $35 and the best part of my meal was the water. It wasn’t close to Hala Guys in New York or NYC Halal Eats in Troy. Thanks for trying though.
