Quality food! A must try spot, very interesting flavours and dishes. Very meat based menu, therefore not the best place for vegetarians. The bread dishes are amazing – so flaky and layered. Very nice interior with beautiful light fixtures and fine china the food is served on. The service is very friendly but seems to be understaffed. Very slow responses to any requests, again very friendly just slow. Try the compote juice drink!

I recently dined at an Uzbek restaurant in San Francisco, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The food was incredibly tasty, offering a delightful array of flavors from Uzbekistan. The service was on point, with attentive and friendly staff, ensuring a memorable dining experience. What impressed me further was the restaurant’s convenient location, making it easily accessible for locals and tourists alike. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an authentic Uzbek culinary journey with top-notch service.

On our visit to SF we came across this restaurant. The selling point for us for Halal and affordable prices since we came from LA . Tried Uzbeki food for the first time ever and was not disappointed. Will definitely visit again next time we are in SF and bring our friends along and also suggest this place to our friends and family visiting SF . The staff was really nice and kind . The tea was yumm too .

Dastarkhan offers some delicious central Asian fair at a very affordable price. We tried the Manti, Sofi osh and medevik for dessert.

I have been here in November. Nice place with traditional Uzbek decorations. We have ordered borsch, chicken shashlyk, samsa and pumpkin manty. The food was good, except for the tea which was warm and barely brewed. Only thing which was really bad is the restroom, it was poorly maintained and was out of order that day.

Must go if you like central Asian dishes. I’m a regular and hate to give away this hidden gem Love the chuchvara – these bite sized dumplings are really great as snacks. The meatball soup is perfect for SF chilly evenings. As main dinner/lunch items I highly recommend Kezan kebab and/or Sofi Osh (plov). I prefer less spicy dishes and central Asian cuisine are great for me. The meat is halal (duh!). And the price is pretty reasonable too.

China occupied large parts of the lands od those people in 1940s and is working hard to remove them from history, and swallow this beautiful culture on the belly of the communist monoculture. The food is amazing and we are lucky to be able to sample it. The Lulu (kufta) was amazing, and everything else was really great.
