Love this place! Been wanting to try it for years and wish I would have sooner. The rolls are fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed the Ramen and Stone bowl. The service is great too!

Haku isn’t bad, but it seemed like it’s yet another sushi place to me. Normally, I would probably pass reviewing the place that has perfect 5-star score and my opinion is different, but hear me out.

Great food! Started with the chicken dumplings that were fried to perfection, followed by a few different rolls the kids chose. The mango gaga is our favorite. Service was great, and our server even told us that (because of a special) we could add an extra California roll for $1. Who doesn’t need more sushi?

Excellent food and service. The atmosphere is great, and the lunch menu has a lot of great options. The rolls taste delicious, as does the teriyaki chicken. I’ve tried the Alaskan roll, Rainbow roll, California roll, and the shrimp tempura roll, and they all tasted fresh. I highly recommend this spot.

Had the Bento A box (rolls and teriyaki chicken) special for lunch takeout. Was fabulous. Would definitely recommend this restaurant! Was was first time there and will definitely be going back. The sushi was fresh, tasty, and pricing was just right!

The worst sushi experience I’ve had in my entire life. They packaged vegetarian rolls with the non-vegetarian rolls so that the raw fish was touching them, which is obviously a problem. The sushi was so poorly made. The rice was over-cooked to the point that it was overly sticky and didn’t stick to the seaweed (because they put it on the outside of the rolls) and came off because it was stuck to the container or the other rolls (vegetarian and non-vegetarian). They were also impossible to pick up or move out of the container with chopsticks or fingers because of the ridiculous rice. They would not come out in one piece, and if they did, they became completely unrolled. They didn’t even give us a refund and said it was our fault because we didn’t SPECIFICALLY ASK to have vegetarian and non-vegetarian rolls packaged separately, even though ALL THE OTHER ITEMS WERE PACKAGED SEPARATELY. We spent $100 on food. They wouldn’t give us back $20 for their mistake. It would’ve been better if the food was good, but it was mediocre AT BEST. The sushi that ended up being eaten was terrible and we threw out the rest. AND, there was meat in my VEGETARIAN teriyaki TOFU dish. Absolute worst sushi restaurant you could support. Go somewhere else. I’d say to try it if they were nice people and maybe you’d like, but they don’t treat their customers well.

My mother and I stopped here for some lunch. I ordered seaweed salad, shrimp tempura, massago and a California roll. We ordered miso soup which had to be reheated but it was filled with tofu and seaweed! I was very surprised and loved it, I feel like other places skimp out on tofu and seaweed in miso soup.

Chuck’s sushi is the best in the suburbs. From quality to creative flavors for both maki and other entrees, him and his staff absolutely kill the game. Great place for a dinner, lunch, date night, or take out. Would highly recommend. Great price too.
