There are four hacienda restaurants in the Evansville area. I’d rate them about the same. I’m not a huge fan of their salsa, which is tomatoes. Their white queso is decent. Their staff has been consistently good. We had a huge group tonight and were taken care of. It’s typical midwest Tex-Mex to me. They serve cheese fries and mozzarella sticks at a Mexican restaurant. They have some interesting drinks for decent prices. It’s a good place to go with friends and enjoy a large and relatively cheap meal. Our experience has been good so we will return.

My Mom and I had given up on the Hacienda on Green River Road a long time ago. We decided to try the Hacienda in Darmstadt and it was great! The service and the food were much better than we expected. I love their salsa. It’s not chunky and has a great flavor.

The salsa tasted like tomato paste. The chicken tasted like roasted turkey. Rice had way too much pepper and was hard. The beans had a brown crust. I am not very happy with my experience here. Only good thing was the server. He was very nice. But I am definitely not going to make another trip here.

The salsa was awful. It tasted like tomato puree. I ordered the three fresh tacos. They had no seasoning and the meat had a funky smell so I didn’t eat them. The rice and beans were good. The young man that served us was excellent.

This is a great Hacienda location. The staff are all excellent. It is very well managed and their food is always spot on. The place is always clean and they can handle the busy times very well. Their classic wet burrito is consistently delicious. Had their fresh tacos and they are really great. When they ask if you want red or green salsa just say yes.

I would’ve rated this a 0 but it wouldn’t let me. The salsa tasted like tomato puree. I ordered a simple chicken on the beach, my chicken tasted like roasted chicken. The rice had no flavor but loads of pepper. This was the whitest Mexican restaurant ever. The only thing good was the server, very nice, quick to get us refills. Customer service was great. Food was less than mediocre. It’s more of American food than Mexican. The chips were really good, thin and crispy. Salsa was like spicy ketchup. If you aren’t used to real Mexican food, you might enjoy this place. The food is presented well.
