This is orders of magnitude better than the restaurant that used to be at this location. I decided to try it again after hearing a good review from a colleague. I had the tacos al pastor and they were amazing. I was enchanted with the very first bite and can’t wait to go back and have them again.

Great food. Even more amazing staff. First time I ordered for takeout unfortunately a grub hub driver had come just before me and unfortunately grabbed my order by mistake along with the one they were to deliver. The staff remade mine and offered to comp it. I refused the freebie and wanted to pay since it wasn’t their fault at all. But they wouldn’t take my card and said I was good. This is my go to Mexican restaurant now.

When arriving, no one was at the front seating so I waited for a few minutes until someone sat me. Then I waited to be acknowledged after being sat, I had to ask the bus boy to get me waiter/waitress to place an order. Ordered a alcoholic drink and food. Food arrived and I asked about my drink, he never entered it. I ordered the carnitas tacos, which were good until I come across a upc label that was cut up (I am assuming from the tomatoes or something). Now, I have been sitting here for 20 minutes waiting for anyone to check on me and get my ticket. Poor service and food was good but not spectacular.

Sooo good! This is our new stop for Mexican. We enjoyed the outdoor patio. Food and service were exceptional.

We ordered a carne asada and burrito California, the meat of carne asada it was like rubber and very poor size for dinner dish, burrito California nothing like it supposed to be, no cheese sauce, red and green on top of it, the tortilla stuck on the bottom of the plate, very salty taste, I won’t recommend thi restaurant, very disappointed

The steak in the burrito was mostly gristle, and it was pretty gross. It’s a shame because the food here used to be good.

Used to be our “go to” Mexican spot. Now the service is hit or miss, and the food is just ok. The last time we went, I ordered their shaker margarita, which was described on the menu as a margarita made with orange juice. What I got was an orange juice mixed with tequila and a splash of sour mix. I asked a server if it was supposed to be all oj, he just said “yes” and walked away. When our server came to check on us, I asked her, and she took it back to “fix it” but only added a tiny bit more sour mix. It was not a margarita and I didn’t drink it. We probably won’t go back now that viva and the new hacienda location in grimes have patios. It’s too bad, we used to eat here at least once a week.
