The food was okay. The hamburger patties aren’t homemade and remind me of a McDonald’s patty in size but not tastes. You get more on the sandwich than at most places but there are better option in Maxton and Pembroke. Over all the best thing we tasted was the Banana Pudding, it’s work a look see just to try some of that.

Delicious small plates! We stopped for some breakfast sandwiches, home fries, and grits. The sandwiches had just the right amount of meat, and not too salty! Really enjoyed the seasoning on the home fries as well!! Grits were perfect consistency, and the free bananas were a nice touch lol Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a quick bite while visiting near Maxton, NC.

That’s two many stars but the people were really nice. They charged a lot for the food but they didn’t have the shrimp and other stuff. The food was edible at best. that was the fish plate. They say their burgers are good though.

Great food and character! We just stopped for Sunday lunch and the buffet where you get 1 protein, 1 starch and two sides. I got Turkey, dressing, gravy, Lima beans and sweet potatoes. They go light on the salt which is great. Prices are very reasonable. We will go back next time we come thru

Really solid food worth the quick stop off of US 74. Friendly owner, fast service and reasonable prices. This is a typical southern grill in layout and appearance, something that is slowly disappearing across the state. Stopped by for Sunday lunch and had an excellent cheese steak. They also had a cafeteria-style hot bar.

Very welcoming with a smile. I use to deliver papers in high school. I loved stopping here to get lemonade and a burger. One day the owner over paid me just to see if I was honest enough to bring his change back. I’ll never forget that. LOL…. Great place for southern food and friendly environment.

Stopped for lunch on the way home from the beach and realized we stumbled on a gem as soon as we walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner who is one of the nicest people we have ever met! Food was delicious southern fare at reasonable prices. We will be back next time we head to the beach!
