Well let’s start with I was going to Taco Bell across the street when I walked in I was pushed into using the kiosk to order …. I’m lazy and came inside for the convenience on not doing anything but ordering well that didn’t work out to shorten the story up I left asap … They suck at customer service. So I went across the street to yup… The gyro house where you get what you pay for and great service on top of it . I ordered the Italian beef came with fries and a full plate of them ! I paid 15 bucks about what I woulda spent at the bell and got way more food than I ever would have had I gotten the bell… moral of story I guess stay local shop local get better service and food in return ! If your west sider or anyone thinking about going to alizes or whatever the place is or even uncle nicks I suggest u stop by this place and try them out

Kinda cool when you go into a small business and see everyone who is invested in its success! In my short time, the owner/ cook, family members, and line cook all in a few min of entering the establishment! Wasn’t looking for a huge meal, but the smell hit me, and I said ok…. ribs, please, presented with this ginormous plater of ribs and fries. Then the line cook brought out a sample of the sholder they smoked for me to try. It was delicious, too. So if you are in the area and want some outstanding BBQ, this place has it… thanks for the meal. On a side note, everyone that was in there as customers, I think, knew each other as they were all joking and kidding. The feal here was really spectacular!

The morning cashier is my favorite she’s so sweet and kind, I had the rib tips, gyro and my daughter loves they’re cheese fries. Overall best BBQ and gyros in Rockford to me. Also reasonable prices one of my favorite spots to get BBQ and gyro sandwich.

Absolutely love this joint. Staff is awesome, everything has been remodeled by the current management and is clean and well taken care of (including the bathrooms), and the food kicks a$$. Burgers are cooked fresh to order, bbq pit outs top notch meats and the Broasted Chicken is tasty and reasonably priced. Plus, you can enjoy a beer, shot or other libations while you wait. (Plus you can get your copy of THE PAPER here!) Absolutely no complaints.

Got the gyro sandwich with BBQ french fries. Great price great food, the tzatziki sauce actually tastes like cucumber sauce like it should. Normally I would go to Uncle Nick’s for Gyros but I was suggested this place. Uncle Nick’s has been around for many many years the food is always the same. It’s nice to see a good take on Gyros from these people. Tried their tacos to they are off the hook. Suggest very highly. You will not be disappointed.

This is a real deal spot to eat!!! My wife loves the Rib tips !!! I jump down on the Double gyro Burger but you gotta have a big appetite for that!! I suggest a single first it’s well worth the $$$$$!!! Great tasting Maxwell Polish and Nachos are cooked fresh with homade chips and you can get whatever meat you want!!! It’s a must Stop!!! Love the place
