Friend told me it was another “Gyro Hut” on the SW side (which BTW is delicious and similarly priced) but upon arrival we realized it was a different restaurant. We thought about going over to the other place but decided to give Uptown Gyro a shot. I can say that I am glad that we did. It is equaly as delicious as the previously named restaurant. They give you a lot of food and It was very good. Only thing I can say is I would like to have had more tomatos and cucumber sauce. But I”ll just ask for extra next time! Definitely will visit again.

Fantastic chicken shwarma! Great portion, especially for the price. Menu is otherwise pretty similar to other places in town (like Gyro Hut on Mt. Vernon Rd SE). I will definitely go back again to try the gyros, & will in all likelyhood end up ordering the shwarma again. It really was fantastic. Hopefully their ghetto-adjecent location will keep them open long enough for a few return visits.
