This branch was delicious, and it opens until 3 am, and this is a nice thing, but the last two times I ordered the box, it was very salty. I don’t know the reason. I hope they reduce the salt because I could not complete my order because of the excessive salt.

How can you not love Guthrie’s?! You know what you’re going to get every time and it’s always good and fresh. In my humble opinion, they make the best fast food chicken tender on the market. Better than Cane’s and definitely better than Zaxby’s.

I ordered the box meal at the drive thru and was told there was a small wait for fresh food. While waiting, a gentleman from the kitchen came to the window and offered me a piece of toast. His colleague also had a piece of toast which he claimed was better tasting than the one I was given.

Zaxbys who? They even have a song playing about this place. Guthrie’s in Auburn will always have a special place in my heart even if this is not the original. The new digs are very nice with plenty of parking and seating. Guthrie’s sauce is SOOO much better than zaxbys. I always pay for an extra couple of sauces. I would call this place a destination.

Drive through takes to long. I have had to wait for 30+ minutes multiple times for a simple box meal when I was the only drive through customer. If you are in your car just go to the Guthrie’s by Kroger instead of this one. Despite that the food is standard Guthrie’s goodness and service is nice. However, the drive through is to way to slow.
